SAO Forever (Fan Fic)

Chapter One: The Beginning

Grabbing the game in one hand, and eating a slice of mushroom pepperoni pizza in the other. I stare at the case, it labels just exactly how I wanted it to be, "Sword Art Online." I get anxiety in the pit of my stomach, good anxiety not the kind when u get embarrassed or stage fright. My excitement empowers me and I push the disc right in the drive. I see the game helmet sitting on my bed, I grab it and look at the lenses, my eyes  reflect through it. I lift the helmet up towards my head, like I'm putting on a hat. I look at my room for the last time, I take a bite of my pizza. I put the helmet on, and start the game.

I end up at a menu, it states a agreement of terms if anything goes wrong, I ignore and continue on. Then a blast of color fills my eyes, then three letters show up....Sword Art Online. My excitement is taking strength in me, I felt like I was  going to barf at a moment. I then started to see fields, green big fields. My hands appear with the rest of my body, I look at them and give a grip to see if I have any control. I look around and see large, big, green fields surround me. I look for a moment and open up my game menu. I see how many players are on my server...1020 jeez. I bring out my sword, its a mid level. I paid extra for mid level so I wouldn't die so fast....but high level was to much. Only BETA testers have those.

I instantly teleport to the gathering place. Hundreds, maybe thousands are there. My confusion, I ask the guy right next to me what's going on. "Uh, excuse me?" He turns with a slight frown, "What's going on exactly?" He opens his menu and points to the logout button was. "You see this?" He says, "The logout button is gone... Don't know anything else from that. I'm trying to figure out everything myself." I open my gaming menu, and look where the logout button was, the stranger was right....it is gone.

The sky begins to turn red, people begin to scream. Gushes of blood seeps from the cracks of the red sky. It forms into a man in a cloak with no face, people begin to panic. They start asking questions of "Where are we?" and "What are you doing?" The man then begins to talk, "Welcome to Sword Art Online, or referred to as SAO. You all must be wondering where did the logout button go, well...there isn't one." The crowd full of people gasp they are frightened of what just came out of his mouth.

"You will not be able to leave SAO, from this point on...this is controlled completely by me." "And who are you?" A man said standing feet from me. "I am Yuuki Shouzou, CEO of SAO. If you know know, you won't be able to escape this world until you beat all 100 levels on SAO." " That's impossible... " I thought. "And hopefully, a family member or roommate doesn't pull that gaming helmet off...in that helmet is radio waves. Those waves and enter the skull...and kill your brain." Gasps and screams fills the air. "You see your XP and your health bar, you see that? If that goes down. That means your life goes down. Meaning... If you die in the game...you die in real life." "This is BS I'm leaving!" A man says grabbing this girls left arm.

He heads towards the open gate, then smacks right into the invisible force field. "What is this?" He says starting to panic. "Since you all will be here for sometime, you won't need these costumes anymore either." In a second, thousands of people changed. Thankfully for me, I didn't so much, A mixed girl with curly hair and just a bit shorter than before. The man who was trying to leave ended up being a bit big...and his girl wasn't a girl after all. Everyone is shocked by the surprised appearances that showed. The boy that explained what was going on was on the same boat as me, just a bit short. The man in the cloak finally let's us go, and I rush out of the arena. I open my menu to see my xp, it's really low...really low. I start to get a plan to earn more, until a familiar face appears in front of me. Its the guy, the guy who gave me the information of what was going on. "So I see your low on XP...I can help with you with that." "How?" I ask. "Join in my party, I'll show you the skills and tricks...after all I was a BETA player." I look at him at a gaze, "Whats your name?" "My name is Kirito, Kirt for short."
