Tessa writes letters. They're not that interesting, nor of any importance to anyone but her. She writes about mundane things: what she has for breakfast, her daily interactions with people, random memories, her hatred for Astronomy and love for Transfiguration, her family, a ridiculous boy named after a flower, and a girl who probably hates her. Tessa pours her heart out in these letters and sends them to Lily, who will never read them in time.
