The Witch That Wanted To Be "Human".

My Mother, the Wicked Witch.

"Blink!" my mother called out, I was outside practicing my magic and waving my wand. "Oh for the love of..." I heard my mother say, she teleported outside. "Blink, did you not hear me calling you?" she sternly said, I lied and shook my head, "I apologize, mother," I said, "I was practicing my magic. My mother sighed, "Well, come inside. Your sister and I are waiting for you.", I had a puzzled expression, what would my sister and my mother want to talk about with me? My sisters' name was Star, she was a professional and experienced witch, she knew almost all the spells, my mother knew all the spells a witch could know, she was, as told by other witches, "The queen of magic". I just nodded and followed my mother inside, "Greetings, Blink", Star said, "I saw you practicing your magic.", I nodded, "Lavienta!" I said, my wand disappeared. "Star, what do you think of normal humans?" my mother asked me, I stared at her blankly. 

"Well...er" I started, I didn't know what to say. Humans have never done anything to us witches, but I know my mom despises them, she see's them as horrible THINGS, yes, THINGS. Star knows this spell that summons a magic globe, it can be used to spy on anyone, we used it to see the normal lives of humans, and they did not seem like horrible people. "I do not understand the question," I said. My mother had an annoyed look, "I think you did understand the question, Blink", I was frozen, "I think, you just do not want to answer. And I think I understand why.". Star went in between my mother and myself, "Mother, please. Blink is allowed to have her own opinion, if she does not have the same view as you on humans, do not disrespect her for that", her tone was calm, but she stared intensely at my mother.

"Do not...." my mother started, she pointed her wand at Star and shot a beam, sending Star backward, "Get into our conversation.". Star growled and got out her wand, "If you want to have a magical battle, I will not say no!" Star said raising her voice. "Losiena!" my mother yelled out, the beam summoned glyphs around Star. "Ah! This is..." Star started, her voice shaking. My mother smirked, "Yes, it is a spell you have not learned yet." she said. Star was frozen, I went in front of her and yelled out, "Oriena!", I summoned a barrier that went around me and Star.

The glyphs shot a beam, but it did not affect us because of the barrier. "Mother, please..." I said, "I will not hate humans, I am sorry, but I do not understand how you could hate them," I said, I was tearing up. "You WILL hate humans, and you WILL understand," my mother said, pointing her wand at me. "Please, stop!" I yelled out, "You can not hurt your own daughters!". 

My mother put her wand down slowly, turning her head away, "I..." she started, but then stopped talking. "Go to your rooms," she said, "And do not come downstairs until I come back". Star and I looked at each other, Star grabbed my hand softly and went upstairs. "I am sorry..." Star said when we went inside her room. "For what? You did nothing wrong" I said, wiping my tears. "Yes, I did...I should have..helped you more..." she said. I was confused, she had stood up for me, what more could she have done? "You have already done enough, you have helped me dearly, Star. Thank you." I said to her, she nodded and smiled sweetly at me. "I suppose..." she said.

I was reading one of Star's spell books, trying to master them, and suddenly mother teleported in front of me. "My sweet daughters...I suppose I owe you an apology." My mother said, Star got up instantly, "An apology?! Is that all you are going to give to us? Mother, you could have injured us drastically! How could the only thing you give to us is an apology?" Star slammed a table, making me jump.

"I think, Blink owes me an apology, actually." mother said, but what have I done? Is this all my fault? "She owes you nothing!" Star yelled out, "You do not deserve anything from us! Blink is innocent, how dare you even say she owes you an apology! She had an opinion of the humans, and she has done nothing wrong!". Star grabbed my hand, and walked downstairs. 

"Where do you think you are going?!" My mother yelled out, "Star, get back here this instant!". I heard my mother say a spell, and a firewall went in front of me and Star. I was terrified, Star turned around and mother was there, she looked furious. "Where...are...you...going?" my mother said, "We were going to leave you! Blink and I do not feel safe, you may see us as traitors for not hating the humans!", Star held my hand tightly. "You will not leave..you are staying..and you will hate the humans," my mother said angrily, "No!" I yelled out. My mother and Star looked at me, "I mean...Mother, we are sorry...but we are leaving, and we will not hate the humans!" I said, trying to sound brave.

My mother laughed, she pointed her wand directly at me, "Firiana!" she yelled out, a fireball was sent at me, it took me by surprise and hit me, I fell backward and had a huge burn. "Blink!" Star yelled out, she picked me up. My mother let out an evil laugh, "You monster! Evil witch!", Star screamed. "Excuse me? Am I the evil witch? The monster? Fine then, let me show you how strong a MONSTER IS" my mother pointed her wand at Star this time, "Soliviano!", a ball of electricity went to Star.

Star let out a scream, "AHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!", Star fell on the floor, weakly. "Star!", I rubbed my burn and pulled her upwards, she was knocked out. I was crying, "S-star! Please wake up! Please!" I shook her, she didn't wake up. My mother cackled, "So, Blink. You've gotten your sister hurt, how horribl--AH!", my mother stopped as soon as I pointed my wand at her, "Sotiona! You will pay for hurting my sister!", a red explosion occurred in front of my mother. "Ugh! You little--", my mother stopped talking when she realized I was gone, I teleported away from her, out of the house.
