*Edited. The boys in the dream originally had black wings but I changed it to white.
Miles walked up the porch steps and stomped his boots to knock the excess snow off. Taehyung followed suit as Miles fiddled with his keychainand unlocked the door.
"That's an awful lot of keychain stuff." Taehyung remarked seeing several ornamental items hanging around two old keys.
"Oh that. I have a mild addiction to collecting merchandise and what not." Miles laughed, "If my keychain shocks you, wait 'til you see my room!"
Miles bit his lip ever so slightly hearing Taehyung laugh. It was such a pleasing sound. He hoped he would be hearing it a lot more. For a brief moment he felt a pull in his stomach, an unnatural feeling that he couldn't identify but when he locked eyes with Taehyung the feeling disappeared. He smiled widely and pushed the door open. They stepped into the entryway and removed their boots. Miles smiled to himself as he noticed that even Taehyung's socks were black.
"I'm home!" Miles yelled, but he was greeted with silence. It was then he noticed a note on the entryway table. It was from his mother.
Took Charlie to the doctor and then we are going to visit Aunt Miriam. Will be home late, there's lasagne in the fridge for dinner. Love you
"Huh, guess we have the house to ourselves." Miles informed Taehyung, who gave a lopsided smile. Miles gave Taehyung a brief tour of his home before proceeding upstairs to his bedroom. As he predicted, Taehyung was less than composed when he saw the room for the first time.
"Holy shit, it's like Nerdvana in here." Taehyung remarked in awe.
"I know." Miles laughed as he set his bag down by his bed and gave Taehyung a few moments to collect himself. "So...what do you wanna do? Watch tv? Play videogames?"
"Sure we could play some games." Taehyung replied, having finally gotten over how much of Miles' room was a shrine to fandom. Taehyung's eyes lingered on several photographs that were stuck to the wall right by the bed. They featured different people in different locations but Miles was in every single one.
"Those are my friends. Current and old. We moved here three years ago so I have more friends out of town." Miles explained, noticing Taehyung staring at the photographs.
"That's pretty cool, actually." Taehyung said, turning to look at Miles.
"You want to go up on the wall?" Miles blurted out.
"Excuse me?"
"I mean, I could take a photo of us right now and print it out to stick on the wall with the others if you want? I mean, we are friends after all right?" Miles said, suddenly feeling nervous and regretting having opened his mouth.
"That would be awesome!" Taehyung grinned, his eyes alight with joy.
Miles grinned back happily and grabbed his phone. He stood next to Taehyung and put his arm around the other's shoulder. He took several selfies with Taehyung and then proceeded to go through them together to see which one should go on the wall. After finally choosing one, Miles printed it out and then stuck it on the wall with the others. Both of them looked at the image with joy in their hearts. Miles turned to look at Taehyung and he felt those brutal butterflies attacking his stomach as he gazed at the beautiful creature that was currently smiling at the photo. Miles snapped himself out of his trance. This boy will be the death of me if I keep spacing out like this when I'm around him.
Miles grabbed his controller and turned on his PS4, urging Taehyung to sit with him as he handed the second controller to Taehyung.
"So, what do you want to play?"
