Welcome to the world of Popstar! This is a Harry Styles fanfiction masquerading as a modern fairytale. What happens when a princess meets a popstar? Well, besides lies, deceit, and a media frenzy for the ages--maybe true love. 

Summary

Strangers to each other, but not to the world. After a night—and early morning—of mysterious bliss, Bernie and Harry separate thinking they've gotten away with a secret romance. That is until a photo of them kissing spreads like wildfire across the globe. King James refuses to allow scandal overshadow his granddaughter's growth and maturity—finally the public opinion of the eventual Queen out of the gutter—and demands the one night stand be overwritten with a full blown—public—relationship.

Three months is all Grandfather asks for, but will this fake relationship turn out to be more than a photo op between Harry and Bernie? Between garden parties and charity dinners, the lines are blurred leading Bernie to think that faking it just might make it.

Princess and the Popstar is the story of two wildly insecure people who are forced to bare all to the world—and each other.

Chapters post simultaneously here on Wattpad and on my tumblr of the same name. Popstar will be updated every Friday at 5:30 pm est beginning February 16.

This is a multimedia fic told not only through traditional narrative, but also press releases, blog posts, chat shows, and more. I've done my best to distinguish the hows, whos, and whats, but online publication has its limitations. 

Some history has been altered to accommodate narrative while some history remains intact. While I've done my best to research royal customs and practices, sometimes those rules don't coincide well with fic. So please keep an open mind when it comes to technicalities and let's have some fun. 

This book is rated MA for mature content including: strong language, sexual themes, glorious and gratuitous sex scenes, graphic scenes of various natures, and difficult, possibly triggering, subject matters relating to physical appearance, self-esteem, and women's health, to name only a few. To preserve an element of surprise, I will not put content warnings on chapters here on Wattpad, but there will be content warnings on tumblr.
