*Monday at school in Claire's 6th hour because I forgot to mention it* "So, Max. What time should I be at your house?" I ask. "5:30 at the latest." He responds. "Okay. Cool."
*Wednsday 4:30, 10 minutes after Megan and Tony get home*
"Mom, may I go to Max's house for a sleepover with him, Mara, and Amanda? Pleeeeeeeeaaaaassssseee??" I beg. "I'll think about it. I'll let you know tomorrow morning." Mom replies. "Okay." Did she forget that I was grounded? Did she get drunk after what happened on Monday? *7:05 a.m. Thursday, in the van* "Mom, can I go to the sleepover tomorrow? It's at 5:30." I ask. "Yes, Claire." She responds. We get to school and I tell Max, Mara, and Amanda.
*5:30, Friday* "Bye, mom." I get out of the van. "I'll be here tomorrow at 11:40 to get you." She informs me. "Okay. Bye." "Bye, Claire-bear, love you." "Love you too." I walk up to the door and Mara is there. "Hi, Claire-bear." She teases. We play Rayman Legends, Mortal Kombat, Halo 3, watch Rocky Horror Picture Show, Good Fellas, Indiana Jones Temple of Doom, and play truth or dare before falling asleep.
