Wonwoo had always been more on the antisocial side, ever since he was young he would spend his days locked inside his room reading or studying for school instead of playing with friends, not that he had any to begin with. Everyone at school saw him as a mysterious kid, the weird boy that no one wanted to play with. Wonwoo had grown used to being alone all the time, from the absence of his dad and the fact that his mother was a single mom trying to support himself and his younger brother, and was always working. He had grown comfort in being alone, during summer breaks off from school his family would go days without seeing him at a time, they had gotten used to him being in his room all day and night. His mother, of course, had suggested that he go to see a counsellor in order to get over his antisocial personality, to which wonwoo refused every time. He was fine, he just liked being alone.

As he grew older, this behaviour continued. He graduated high school and started to study at one of the best universities in all of Korea, he did graduate at the top of his class after all. He would sit at the back of the class, far away from everyone else, and then quickly go back to his dorm when the class finished. He requested a room to himself, instead of having to share it with some annoying, immature university student, to which he was granted. He did his best to avoid any type of human contact at all, using the self-check out at grocery stores and barely ever going out to order food. This was hard at times, however, due to his charming good looks and cool mysterious appearance. Many young girls would try to start conversations with him, seeking some type of relationship or sex that Wonwoo did not want. Many times he would ignore their existence entirely, pretending to not even know they were talking to him to get them to leave him alone. Couldn't they tell he wasn't interested? He didn't want any type of human interaction, especially one where he had to actually give attention to another person.

As more years passed and as he finished university, he moved into a small apartment where he could truly be alone. Working an office job from home, he never had to leave the confinements of his own house more than a couple times a week, in order to get groceries and check the mail for his bills. And although he never felt lonely or sad, he was much less than content with his life. Sure, he had the perfect life for someone like himself, being able to avoid people at all costs, having a nice job that paid well, well still being able to work from the safety of his own home. But even though he had his life made out, something felt like it was missing. He just hoped he would figure out what it was, sooner or later.
