In the twilight we fight
But, really any time is right
Except while the prayers play
Even then there was dismay
We learned to stay aware
Neither night nor day was fair
The 10th got no rest
We proved we were best
From fall to fall on guard
In a land that was far
How the days seemed so long
The nights went on and on
We stood ready to fight
Because any moment was right
Night and day went on and on
On guard til we went home
