A bright light showed me the way to my destination.
I could feel Zei's presence on my right side and Debra's on my left.
When I looked at her, I finally saw a clear image of her. She looked exactly like I had imagined her to look. Lively and passionate, but still as dangerous and wild. Just was the living image of fire.

When I looked around the area, it felt oddly familiar.
A cold shiver ran through me as cold air hit me with snow blowing all around us.
I was home.

"Why are we here?" I asked Zei.
A wind hid us hard from behind, and blew us all the way to an unfamiliar home.
It got warmer the second we were inside.
Screams and cries were to be heard from the bedroom we were standing in.

"What's going on?" I asked and turned around.
I saw my mother lying down in pain with my dad besides her.
Blankets were covering her, and the face of an unknown woman was at the end.

I walked closer to the scene, realizing they could not see or hear me.
That was the moment it clicked.
This was the day I was born.

A baby got handed in blankets to my father, but the baby let no cries fill the room.
"We have a problem Lu." The unknown woman said.
My dad looked down at the woman with sorrow in his eyes, for his baby did not cry.
"The other one is getting strangled in the umbilical cord"

I could hear my mom scream in more pain.
"Get her out." She demanded.
"Get her out!" She yelled.

My dad looked down at the little girl in his hands with her big eyes closed and brown hair at the top of her head. He laid her down to my mother, and the second my mother looked at the baby, she opened her eyes to reveal familiar bright blue ones.

My dad moved down to the healer at the end of the bed.
He pushed her away. "Get ready to heal!" He yelled
He helped the baby out, and used his firebending to brake the umbilical cord.

"Damn it!" He said when he hit the babys neck, leaving a scar at her neck.
The baby's cry could now be heard, as they put her down in a bucket filled with water.
The baby healed... But the other one was still quiet.

"But... How?" I looked at Zei, then at Debra.
She looked back at me with the biggest eyes she had ever given me.
Eyes filled with hatred.
I looked down at her neck.
A mark was visible.

The wind made us disappear from this scene, to another beautiful scenario.
A lake, with the moon shining bright on it.
My father and mother each holding a child.

"I don't know if this will work." My mother said, holding me close to her.
"It's all we got." My father answered, holding what I assumed to be my twin.
They put us both down in the lake, with two fish swirling around us.

Tui and La I believed... But they were in the nothern water tripe?
I remembered hearing stories of how they had ones saved the moon spirit Yue.
My grandmother told me about one of their adventures to the nothern water tripe when I was just a kid.

"This is a sad story to be honest. One twin undeniably ill and the other one barely survived after being strangled mid labour." Zei said, knowingly.
The scene slowly disappeared before us and left were only darkness, me and the spirit that had been trapped in my mind for all this time.

"You... you're her?" I asked her, realizing it.
She just looked away, into the darkness.
"I- I did-" I was about to say that I was sorry for not knowing, but how was I supposed to know?

"You may not fully be able to comprehend the end of this story, so let me tell you." I heard years of anger build up in her voice.
"Tai and La did not have enough power to help the both of us. They chose the one of us that would make the best of ourself in the future. The one that could be saved."
