The Battle Begins

The next day after the whole accident with Tord. Tom dreamed through the night about his one dream to achieved. That dream is to beat the siren and rescue his prince. With edd in his life, there would be a world, a world full of-

Boom! There was a sound of a gunshot.

"Gaah!" Tom fell off the bed shocked by the thunder.

Tom was shaking, "The hell?" He said while getting up on his feet. All he could hear was a Norwegian down stairs.

It sounds like he was laughing about something. Tom was quite curious but after that sound, he realized what it might mean.

Tom rushed down the stairs, afraid for his life. Afraid that his dream will never come true. He went to where the noise had just happened.

Matt was surprised "Whoa! Its amazing! Uhh what is it?"

Tord carried his unusual gun "Oh this baby? Only one of my favorites out of my collection."

"Tord I think its a bad idea to set it off in the house you might wake tom," Edd had a nervous tone to his voice.
 
"Pfft it's not like I'm gonna care," a tired expression appeared like he went to the most annoying place in the world.

"T-tom you're awake?" Edd's voice has a bit of relief in it.

"Yea that commie's nerf gun woke me," he went to the fridge and got out a nicely patterned flask.

"Sorry I tried to stop him by telling him that he'll woke everyone in the neighborhood"

"I gotta say it works pretty.. Good.."

"How?" He takes a sip from his flask.

"It woke you up, nothing can wake you up," Tord smirks under his gun.

"Yea yea just because I overslept"

Tord smiled. Tom knew what that meant. The siren is about to cast it's spell.

"Heeey! Uh edd wanna go to that new restaurant that just opened up" Tom does a fake smile. {Mann this hurts, how can matt handle this pain?}

"Uh sure and stop smiling it looks scary."

Tom dropped his smile, "Thank God."

Tord's face turned red, he is frustrated.

"How about I go to, you'll never know that they have bacon or not," Tord smiled at this idea.

"Sure! How about it matt?"

"Yea! Oh! tom can I talk to you a minute?"

"Sure-" by the time matt pulled him into another room.

Matt closed the door and faced Tom.

"I know you like edd" he has a serious expression on his face.

"W-what?! How did you know-" he was shhed by matt.

"Look I'm on your side, I don't want edd to end up with tord, he scares me"

Tom was shocked. "Really??"

"Yes and I'm willing to do anything to get you two together," a determined expression appeared on his face.

Tom is relieved that he has an ally. A new friend to the journey, a mage perhaps. He could help save Tom's prince and maybe have his happily ever after.

"Thank you Matt and sorry for those horrible-" Matt interrupt him with a hand over his mouth.

"Don't get weird tom I'm the same stupid matt you always knew let's keep it like that now come on" Matt opens the door and tom follows.

Tom is surprised of how matt changed, but he's glad that Matt is on his side. Makes him feel more confident about his chances.

When they all got into the van, all it was is a staring contest. Tord looking at edd and both Tom and Matt looking at Tord. This is the battle of love and death. If tom can do this, he can have love forever but, if he misses it. His life is only darkness to him like death.
"So be it" Tom whispered.

So the battle begins.
