*Alexis' POV*

Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!

I smashed my hand on the snooze button of my alarm and then cursed because it hurt. I threw my legs over the bed and stood up slowly, rubbing my eyes and yawning. I dragged myself to the bathroom and washed my face and brushed my teeth before going back in my room to find clothes. As I was looking for some skinny jeans I heard my phone vibrate and I went to go check it.

Olivia: Bestfriend!!!!

I smiled at the message. Olivia and I have been bestfriends for about 3 years. She's the person I go to for everything. She's my rock, my shoulder to cry on, my smile when I'm down, etc. I don't know what I would do or where I would be without her.

Me: Wassup bf

Olivia: Man I got to tell you something about Adam

I sighed. Anything anyone had to say about Adam was almost always bad. One girl came to me and told me he flirted with her before. Another said he grabbed her ass. I never believed them because I trusted Adam and some people said things just to make us break up so they could have a shot with him. Adam is mixed. His mom is African American and his dad is Honduran. He has curly dark brown hair that's in afro style and he has big, dark brown eyes and a nice, white smile. Also, he's 6 feet tall and husky with toned abs and muscles. Although he's kind of popular, his popularity doesn't really rub off on me so no guys really want me like the girls want him. And I can't blame them. I'm 5'3, I have slightly curly brown hair that stops about mid back, not much boobs or butt, and I'm kind of skinny (I only weigh 115) with tan colored skin.

Me: Smh.. Ion even wanna know. I'm kinda bored with him and ik he mess around.. I think ima end it today

I sat on my bed and huffed. Adam and I have been through a lot and that's why we always get back together. I might not be in love with him but I do love and care about him.

Olivia: Do what you gotta do

I stared at the text for a minute, contemplating, and then finished getting ready.

~Later that morning in school~

"Yo, here comes Adam." Olivia said to me before giving me a small smile and walking away. I looked after her. This hoe just gon' leave me, I thought and shook my head, turning back to see Adam walking up.

"Hey, baby." He gave me a kiss on the cheek.

I faked a smile. "Hey. Look we need to talk."

He gave me a scared look that he quickly tried to cover by giving me a puzzled look but I caught it. "About what?"

That ticked me off. He was hiding something. Maybe it was what Olivia was going to tell me.

"I think you already know." I played it like I knew what he knew.

"N-no." He stuttered.

"Adam quit the games." I said in a bored tone, looking at my nails. "I know you did something, you know you did something. Let's just stop playing with each other. We're not going anywhere."

He stood there for a few seconds before realizing what I said. "Woah woah. You breaking up with me?"

"Yup. See you." I turned and walked away, looking for Olivia. When I found her I told her what happened and she just shook her head.

"Tell me what you were going to tell me earlier." I said.

She rubbed the back of her neck nervously. "Uhm.. well this girl told me that he kissed her friend and gave her a hickie."

I shook my head. It was probably true. But I didn't care anymore. Adam can do whatever he wants now.

"Well that's him, I guess."

At that moment the bell rang and we started walking to homeroom. As we got to the second floor and turned the corner, someone bumped into me and dropped their stuff.

"Oh shit. My bad." I bent down to help get their stuff.

"It's all good ma." a deep voice said.

I wasn't ready. He sounded so sexy. I fumbled with the stuff a little bit and then stood up handing him his stuff. When I looked up I almost got blinded by his gorgeousness. He had on some black skinny jeans that weren't too tight or too loose and a blackish-greyish plaid shirt with short sleeves and it was open showing a tight white shirt that showed his 8 pack and his skin was almost my color but he was more red than I was. I almost melted right there. And he had the handsomest face. His jaw bones were strong but not too strong and he had a beautiful smile and his eyes were light brown, almost hazel, with thick, long eyelashes that made them seem like they were glowing. Wait, are they actually glowing? I was taken from my thought by Olivia pulling on my sleeve so I blinked a few times and then I was walking again, kind of in a daze. I looked back to see the mystery boy staring after me and then I turned back around. I felt something just now that I had never really felt before.

I felt complete.
