Chapter 27

The rest of the day was nice, they would tell me what I missed, and how Baek would sometimes visit me with Hwoarang, and all.

Apparently everyone was devastated when they heard the news about me losing my legs and being stuck in a coma. So that's why every news channel talked about me waking up on the day of my awakening.

I wonder how they would react if they were to see me back in the action.

We were about to watch a movie when Genos got a call. He excused himself, walking to the kitchen and answering the call there.

He soon then came back, told us that it was the hero association, before he put his phone on speaker.

"An elf like creature has appeared in city W, causing chaos with fire giants and frost giants." The guy from the other side informed. "The elf seems to be using dark magics, and according to him, he plans on ruling this "realm"."

"Where is he exactly?" Genos quickly asked.

"He's currently standing on top of the highest building, Luxus Hotel." He answered. "He has yet to use his magic again, but we rather not risk it."

"The other S-class heroes are busy taking care of the giants, and everyone is evacuating." He added.

"I see, I'll be heading there soon with two heroes." Genos spoke.

"Wait who's the other one? You usually just go on missions with Saitama and Kuroneko." The guy spoke.

"Kuroneko will be joining us." Genos spoke.

"Wait what-" Before the man could finish, the cyborg hung up.

"Isn't that a bit rude?" I teased as I got up.

The cyborg shrugged before Saitama and I ran to our room to get ready.

I decided to wear my new outfit this time, the one I created last night.

I threw off the dress I was wearing before and quickly put on my black gothic qi embroidery jumper dress, and short leggings. I got my hidden blades on, before I slipped on the same claw-like gloves. I then put on a new black tailcoat-like jacket which was designed in a way that the long ends of the jacket wouldn't get caught in my wheels, but other than that it looks the same.

I tied my now pass shoulder length black hair into a high ponytail before I turned to the cat ears Genos bought me before. I smiled at the memory before I took the accessory and put it on my head.

I quickly went downstairs by sliding down the rails only to see that Saitama and Genos were waiting.

The two turned to me, confused to see the new costume.

I spun, showing off my outfit, as I beamed, "Introducing, kuroneko 2.0!"

"Apparently cats have wheels now." Saitama joked with a smirk.

"Oh shut up." I ordered with a grin. "Come on, let's get moving! That elf could be Kuroo for all I know!"

The two nodded in agreement before we ran out of the house, not forgeting to lock the door of course, and began to make our way to city W.

"Woah.." I muttered as I look around. Most of the city was destroyed and there were fire giants and frost giants everywhere, and only a couple laid lifelessly on the ground.

I then turned my gaze to the remaining building standing, which was the same building where the elf was said to be. Upon closer inspection, I found the figure somewhat familiar. He has to be it.

"You guys handle the giants." I ordered. "I have a score to settle with that dark elf."

Before I could run off, Genos snatched my wrist, making me stop.

"Please..." He begged. "Stay safe."

I flashed him a smile, "Don't worry, I will."

He hesitantly let go of me, and so I continued, "Besides, I have Lady Sora's blessing."

He smiled, and nodded before he left. Saitama walked up to me and gave me a pat on the back.

"Make sure to break his legs too before he dies." He reminded.

I nodded as my smile grew. He gave me a nod before he ran off to go and deal with the giants. I then turned my gaze back to the figure with a serious look.

Now how am I suppose to get up there?
