Marie Cousins P.O.V
I woke up on Saturday morning, not to my alarm this time, but a phone ringing. I picked it up.

"Hello?" I said into the phone?
"Geez did I wake you up at the crack of 11:00?" The voice on the other end said. It was Eddie.

"Hey Eddie." I said.

"We have to talk. In person."

"Oh, okay." I said. "Just let me get ready."

~Time Skip~
One I was ready, I grabbed a cereal bar, and ran over to Eddie's place. I knocked on the door. His mom answered.

"EDDIE MARIE IS HERE." His mom called.

Eddie came sprinting out the door, almost running into me. His mom closed the door.

"Want to go to the barrens?" Eddie asked.

"Yeah, I'll go grab my scooter."
I walked down the stairs, and grabbed my scooter form my garage.

I rode it back to Eddie's place, and he got on his bike, and we headed out.

"So what did you need to need to talk to me about?" I asked, while we were parking our modes of transportation.
We both sat down on the ground, and started playing with the sticks.

Eddie took a puff from his inhaler, and then just looked at me.

"Eddie are you okay?" I asked getting concerned and nervous.

"Yeah I'm fine." He responded.

"Eddie......"

"Okay.. I like you alright! Would you want to be my girlfriend?"

Eddie took another big puff from his inhaler, and when he out it away, I just smiled.

"Of course." I said, and kissed Eddie.

"Hey lovebirds." A voice said.

"Oh hello Richie." Eddie said, rolling his eyes playfully.
