Ilithya

Senior year. The final of highschool. The last year that I will have to put up with the fake girls that parade themselves around school in short skirts, claiming the title of "good girl". I gave the women crowding around us all a dirty look, watching in satisfaction as a large majority of them scurried away. A heavy arm was thrown across my shoulders. I looked over at the towering giant who had a lazy smile on his face as he looked down at me. I glared at him, shoving his arm away from me and stormed my way into the school. He sighed, and I knew he was looking at the other woman next to him with an apologetic smile on his face before he chased me down. I hurried through the halls, hoping that he would lose me before even entering the building. I should've known better than to hope against him because within a minute he had me thrown over his shoulder.

He carried me out one of the side doors of the school, avoiding the rest of the schools population. Once we were out of range, he put me down, crossed his arms over his chest, the action pulling the leather jacket tight against his muscles. He settled his piercing grey eyed glare on me, as if he was waiting for an explanation. My green eyes hardened, pinning him in place. He sighed again and ran a hand through his thick black locks.

"Don't you have a girlfriend to attend to?" I sneered, keeping my glare pinned on him.

"Thya, please. What's brought on your sudden change in attitude towards Chloe? I thought you two were chill," his tone was defeated, unsure of what to do. I let out a sarcastic laugh, throwing my head back.

"We were, and then she broke your heart and now we aren't." I pinned the blame on the her, but I knew my reasons went much deeper than the stupid blondes inability to understand how much the idiot in front of me loves her.

"That was months ago! Let it go. I forgave her, you can too," my previously smart best-friend groaned.

"She cheated on you! With that nerd from her smart class! She screwed him before she screwed you!" I put my hands on his chest, shoving him back a step, "Use that big fucking brain of yours and see she's no good for you!" He froze before sending me a glare and turning on his heel. Before he could enter the school, I called out to him, "We both know that if you meant this, her name would already be on your skin." He was once again standing in front of me, his hands tangled in my long red curls. I could tell that he was mad by the way his eyes gleamed. He leaned down, his full, pouty lips lowering on to mine. Suddenly, his hands ripped themselves out of my hair and were shoving the leather jacket I wore down and off of me. The dark bruises had not yet healed and were now on full display. The jacket hit the ground and he lifted up my loose tank-top. I squeezed my eyes closed, not wanting to see the look of self hatred that I knew would be entering his eyes anytime now.

"She doesn't let me do this. She doesn't need the pain that I can cause. She's not a freak," I opened my eyes but lowered my head, trying to hide from his gaze. He removed his hands from me and walked away again. This time, I didn't try to stop him. I simply watched as he walked away before picking up my leather jacket from the ground and sliding my arms through the holes.

"Fuck this," I murmured and walked back into the school.

I didn't go to class. I had walked right out the front door, knowing that I caught his eye when I came out. I ignored him, keeping a steady pace as I walked to the gorgeous machine that I called Baby. The red Dodge Challenger gleamed in the sunlight. I opened the door, sliding into the familiar comfortable seats of my car before it roared to life. I revved the engine once and when it cooled down, I threw it in reverse and pulled out of the spot, nearly hitting the asshole who dared to try and come talk to me. Cassius approached me as I threw it in drive. Without looking, I rolled the window down, flipped him the middle finger and shouted a "fuck you" out the window before speeding out of the parking lot.
