Ace of Heroes: a Dragon Ball Story

Attack of an Old Foe! A New Hero Approaches!

"Hmph. Sure has been a year or two since Lord Beerus returned to his home planet huh, kakarot?" asked Vegeta.

"Tell me about it, Vegeta." said Goku.

Then, far from where they were, something landed on the ground hard enough to break the sound barrier.

"What was that???" asked Goku.

"I don't know" said Vegeta "But we should go check to find out. Let's go."

"Right." replied Goku.

So, Goku and Vegeta, with Goten and Trunks with them, went to the area where they heard the impact. Even Piccolo, Krillin, Gohan, Tien, and Yamcha went to the scene.

Then, they saw a mysterious and familiar shadow appear from the smog.

And when the smog cleared up, they were shocked when they saw who it was.

"Cell!!!!!" they all shouted.

It was Cell. He had been turned to robotic version of his own body.

"What the hell happened to you?" asked Vegeta.

"I've been going through a lot," replied Cell "Ever since Gohan destroyed my old body!"

Then it went back to the time of Gohan's battle with Cell. As both their Kamehamehas collided. Cell's blast seemed like it was getting closer.

"HAHAHAHAHAHAH... Huh?"

That was when Vegeta sent a ki blast right at Cell to stall him. Then he looked back to notice Gohan walking towards him with one hand holding the blast he had.

And when he got as close as he could, his blast became bigger and stronger and obliterated Cell into nothingness.

"And then, after all these years of being gone, I soon found myself in this robotic body." said Cell "And now, with this new body, I shall have my revenge!"

"Well see about that, Metal Head." said Trunks.

And he and Goten became Gotenks and struck at Cell. But Cell dodged every move.

"Woah." said Gotenks "Its like he predicted my every single move."

"I did." replied Cell "This new body of mine let's me do so."

"Ain't that like cheating?" asked Gotenks.

"Cheating!?" Cell laughed "What do you think this is a baseball game?"

"Kamehameha!!!!" shouted out Goku.

But Cell dodged the attack.

"Galick Gun!!!" Vegeta called out.

But Cell dodged that attack too.

"Destructo Disc!!!" called Krillin.

But Cell kept dodging the attacks.

"Impossible!" said Vegeta "he's reading us like a book!"

"Allow me to show you how more powerful my moves became for me." suggested Cell "SOLAR FLAIR!!!"

A flash of light Even bigger and brighter than a regular solar flair flashed at the heroes, blinding them.

"How does that feel for you?" asked Cell.

"Feels like the urge to kick your ass." responded Vegeta even though he couldn't see "Get him!!!!"

As they all lunged at Cell, it was no use. He threw Piccolo out of the atmosphere, slammed Yamcha to the ground, paralyzing him, twisted Tien's arms all the way around, and shattered Krillin's legs.

"GOKUUUUUUUUUUUU!!!!!!!!" hollered Krillin.

"Damn you, Cell" said an angered Goku as he went super saiyan "I'll make you suffer!!"

As Goku went for a hard punch, Cell vanished.

"Hmm.Not bad." said Cell as he reappeared behind Goku "Now it's my turn"

Cell threw multiple punches at Goku and finished the attack with one big final punch, causing Goku to knock down Vegeta, Gohan, and Gotenks.

Then, not far from the battle, a saiyan pod lands safely. And a mysterious figure emerges from it. The saiyan sensed Cell from the distance with a green New modeled scouter and flew to his location.

"I've about had it with you all." Cell said "I'll just kill you now!"

A small ball of energy appeared in Cell's hand. "This shall wipe you all out."

Hercule heard the noise all the way from his house. "Know what's with all the ruckus?" he asked. Then he saw the ball of energy which was growing. "HOLY CRAP!!!!!!!!"

"This is it, you weaklings." shouted Cell "This world shall be destroyed and there's nothing you can do abou...."

CRASH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cell looked down at his chest shocked.

The shock became worst when he noticed a fist sticking out of it.

He looked behind himself.

It was the mysterious saiyan.

"H-h-how did your fist pierce through my body?" asked Cell shockly "H-h-how did I not see that coming? H-h-how?

The saiyan removed his arm and jumped away as Cell exploded.

As the others regained their sight, they noticed the saiyan.

"Who's that guy?" asked Piccolo who returned to Earth.

"I think he's a saiyan." answered Vegeta.

"You mean there's more?" asked Goku.

Then, the saiyan looked at them. And they all paused.

"The name's Ace." said the saiyan.

Goku smiled. "Nice to meet you, Ace." he started to say "I'm... Uhh... Ace?"

Ace had his back turned. And he heard a girl's voice saying "Ace..."

"Lillie..." whispered Ace.

"What was that?" asked Vegeta.

Then, giant auto piloted orb like ships flew towards the area and surrounded Ace.

A woman in an elite outfit emerged from one advanced version.

"That's Ace, the one we were searching for!" she shouted.

"You'll never get me, basturds!" Ace yelled. Then he flew off.

"After him!!!" the women demanded.

And all the ships took off after Ace.

"Well, that was weird." said Yamcha.

"Dad? Will we ever see that Ace person again?" asked Goten.

"I was wondering the same thing as you, Goten." said Goku. And they started laughing.

A few hours later, Ace flew into a cave on a mountain.

"Good. I think I lost them." he said to himself.

Then he sat down on a big rock.

"Hold on, Lillie." he then said "I will find you. I promise."
