Chelsea-

With only a few weeks before I face Kat and Jackson in court, I begin feeling the nervousness that comes with a court case. The days on I Never Forgot You grow increasingly longer trying to meet the June deadline. It’s two months away.

“Chels, do you want to work on lines for the next scene?” Gavin asks while we’re on our fifth snack break for the day, we've been here since 430 this morning, and we’re not done until 930 pm in four hours. At least we get tomorrow of a whole twenty four hours to relax and do nothing. Well, next to nothing, we still have to run lines, I have to memorize lines for Mysteries of High School, meet with my lawyer, call my brothers, and a friend to take to a baseball game. My twenty four hour rest period, full. Ironic right?

“Sure, Austin do you mind?” I ask my friend, he’s been so nice about these long days. And nights, he’s probably bored out of his mind.

“Go ahead, I’m going to go out and shoot some hoops in the back.” He says.

“We’ll work outside with you.” Gavin says. Austin and Gavin have become close friends over the few months we've been here. Not just my friends but each other’s friends.

We walk outside into the crisp spring night air and the dimly lit alley Austin grabs his basket ball, he starts working on his shooting in the make shift hoop he made earlier in the filming. It was about the first week we were here; he’d come out and shoot hoops while we were on set if he needed to get some air or exercise

Kay: “Luke, you know I don’t have time between running the hotel, working in the hotel, and waitressing at a night club, and now that I’m back in school my time has been cut even shorter.” I put a greater distance between us.

Luke: “Kay, you’re sixteen; you’re still just a kid.” He says closing the space between us that I’d just created.

Kay: “Luke, no. I may only be sixteen, but I have more to do than you could ever understand.” I turn and walk away. He takes my wrist and stops me, “Luke please. Let me go.”

Luke: “Help me understand.” He tells me, “Let me help you with your parents business.”

Kay: “Luke, it takes thousands of dollars to keep this hotel running. I don’t have that kind of money to spend and you don’t want to waste it on me, a stranger to you. I have loans to pay off, maintenance fees to pay, bills, Food to buy, and it’s too much for you to try and cover. It’s not some 25 dollar meal. This is a huge establishment.” I tell him pulling my arm free, “Thanks for the offer.”

Luke: “I’m not just some middle class kid, I get paid big bucks to hold and advertise merchandise. I get paid big money to act, to have my name mentioned in advertisements.” He says, “I have enough to help you and still support myself and my family seven times over.”

Kay: “I appreciate the offer, I really do.” I answer him, “But why?” I question him crossing my arms and looking him in the eyes, “Why do you want to help me Luke?”

Luke: “Because you are the same girl who didn’t want to be my friend because I was famous. Because you’re my friend and friends, help each other. Because I know how much you need the help.” He says stepping closer to me and uncrossing my arms still holding my hands in his, “Lastly, I know how much you want the help.” He takes his hand and tips my head up so we’re eye to eye. He kisses my forehead. End Scene.

So, it’s only a few short weeks later and now we’re finished shooting I Never Forgot You. We have exactly one week before it premiers Gavin and I have to make an appearance. Mysteries of High School starts shooting in twelve days. Prom is in only a few short days back in Pineview, and I convinced Gavin to make a guest appearance as our mystery guest. Austin and Kelly will be going together and I’m going with Gavin. We’re all arriving together. Kelly’s coming to LA to go dress shopping. My costume consultant insisted. “Gavin, our whole break is booked,” I say as we walk back from a half hour photo shoot. “There’s barely any time to rest!” I collapse on the couch in exhaustion. “I want two hours to do absolutely nothing. That’s all I want right now just two hours is all I want.”
