Summary

The world of Asia's richest, from gems to gossip they cover it all. All scattered from Bali to Korea, but the top tier live in Hong Kong. The cult of housewives, Tai Tai's, hosting tea parties once a week while the husbands go golfing on the weekends smoking cigars that could pay for a semester of new college textbooks.

Mali Wu, grew up in this world. The Californian born, Wesley college-bred, world traveler was no stranger to the inner workings of the society that her mother, Ester Song-Wu, now led. After moving the New York City to live on her own, she is guilted back to the place she dreaded but still called home by her mother for the new year holidays.

As expected, Mrs. Song-Wu, has prepared to celebrate the new year with a party ready to be splattered on the gossip tabloids. When an unexpected reunion with old friends and meeting of new ones, things get out of hand.

Fate has its chance. But will there be a push from Cupid?
