F/n blinks awake in a dimly lit room. He glances around, his heart still racing from the dream. Akame sits nearby, sharpening her sword.

"Did you sleep well?" Akame asks, her voice low.

"Not really," F/n replies, running a hand through his hair. "Too many memories."

Leone leans against the wall, a smirk on her face. "You should focus on the present, not the past. You've got a mission ahead."

"Yeah, but it's hard not to think about them," F/n mutters. "Especially Chelsea. How is she?"

"She's recovering," Leone says, her expression softening. "Still unconscious, but she'll pull through. That girl has a stubborn streak."

Akame nods, her eyes serious. "We need to be ready. The Jägers won't wait for us to grieve."

"Right," F/n replies, standing up. "What's the plan?"

Leone pushes off the wall, cracking her knuckles. "We need to take out a few more targets. It'll draw their attention away from Chelsea."

"Count me in," F/n says, determination in his eyes. "I won't let anyone else fall."

"Good," Akame says, glancing at him. "But we have to be smart. We can't rush in blindly."

Leone chuckles. "Yeah, unlike some people who dive into fights headfirst."

"Hey, I'm not reckless!" F/n defends. "I just—"

"Just want to protect everyone, I get it," Leone interrupts, crossing her arms. "But we need a plan, or we'll end up as corpses like the others."

"Let's focus on the mission," Akame interjects. "We can't let our emotions cloud our judgment."

"Right. So what's next?" F/n asks, feeling the weight of their words.

Leone glances out the window. "We track down their movements. I've got a few ideas on where they might strike next."

"Lead the way," F/n replies, his resolve firm. "And I'll make sure Chelsea's safe when she wakes up."

Akame stands, readying her blade. "Then let's move. We can't waste any more time."

As they head for the door, Leone smirks. "Just try to keep up, F/n. I don't want to babysit."

"Just don't slow me down," F/n retorts, grinning despite the tension.

With that, they step out into the night, ready to face whatever comes next.

Esdeath strides confidently into the courtroom, her presence commanding instant attention. Borick shifts nervously in his seat, his eyes darting to his guards. "I need your assurance, Esdeath. My enemies are relentless."

"Fear not," Esdeath replies smoothly, her voice dripping with confidence. "With me, you'll have all the protection you need."

Seryu snorts, arms crossed. "But defeating Night Raid without Imperial Arms is a fool's errand. You're risking everything."

Borick's brow furrows. "Are you suggesting I just give up? They'll come for me regardless!"

Before Seryu can respond, a chill fills the air. Ibara materializes behind her, his dagger glinting in the light. "Is that so? What if I were to strike right now?"

Seryu spins, eyes wide. "What are you doing?!"

"Just a demonstration," Ibara says, a sly grin on his face. "We've taken down Imperial Arms users before. It's all about skill and strategy, wouldn't you agree?"

Mez nods, leaning against the wall. "That's right. They might have their fancy toys, but they're still just humans like the rest of us."

Sten chimes in, his tone serious. "Exactly. Relying too much on weapons can be a weakness."
