JUDD

Chapter: 3

It was now Saturday and I wasn't much of a morning person unlike Leah who had left me in her room to sleep. I could hear birds chirping in my dream along with a deep whisper saying my name. Opening my eyes I saw the blind where pulled back and birds flew passed the window, I groaned and got up.

Walking down the steps I looked over to the right of me which was where the kitchen was, there stood Judd talking to his brother Nick.

"Oh hey good morning Y/N, Leah left for a bit she said that she will be back"

"thank you Nick"

I heard the toilet flush and a voice make its way down the steps and  looking up I saw another kid, he looked to be around the same age as Nick. He saw me and said his hello with a nervous voice.

"I'm gonna go over to Andrews i'll be back later"

Nick and the other boy had headed to the front door and left, it was now just me and Judd. Judd was sitting and eating a bag of chips and sipping down his can of coke, my stomach growled as I held it feeling embarrassed. He paused while eating then sat the bag of chips down, he made his way to the fridge and opened the freezer.

"We got frozen pizza do you want that?"

I nodded then sat down in the chair at the table, Judd popped the pizza in the oven then joined me. Offering me some chips he left the bag for me while he went and got a another soda, setting it down softly he sat back down and enjoyed the bag of chips.It was awkward and the silence made it more awkward but he must of figured out how uncomfortable I was. 

"Do you wanna watch TV while you wait"

"Yeah"

He got up and turned the TV on for me and handed the remote to me, I thought he was going to go sit back at the table and eat his chips but instead he joined me. Judd was much different then since we were kids, he smiled more and was more talkative towards me. This made me upset and I figure he got over me and no longer had interest , but It still didn't make since on why he'd kiss me.

I needed to know besides what did I have to loose, looking out of the corner of my eye I looked at him as he stayed fixated on the TV. I was becoming nervous and shaky but I went for it anyway as I kissed him, he didn't push me away nor did he pull away. I began to move closer then climbed into his lap and I kissed him more deeply, his head was now tilted back as he held my waist.

My breath was raspy as I looked down at him, my face felt warm and my lips tender as I crawled back off him and sat. I covered my face and could not believe what I had just done but Judd started to laugh, peeking out I saw him smile like he used to as he pulled me in for another kiss.
