"Never have I ever... Kissed a person?"

In a row of mixed expressions, each person put one finger down, some more confident than others. The only person left, was one boy who blushed as he kept

all 5 fingers up. "You've never kissed someone?!" exclaimed the group as they crowded around the poor, flustered boy.

With a sheepish smile, he replied, "Haha, nope! Guess I'm a bit late to the party then..."

The girl who originally asked the question laughed somewhat obnoxiously and did a little victory dance, "Ha! I told you I wasn't the only one!"

"Have you really never kissed anyone?" another girl shyly asked him, somewhat surprised, but more surprised at her sudden question.

"Pretty hard to believe, huh?"

A friend of his grabbed his head and roughly ruffled up his hair, "Guess there is something I've done that you haven't!"

The rest of the night seemed to pass by a bit slowly after that, time which wanted to go back to the exciting moment before. It was stuck in a pot of molasses, until all the 10 and 11 year olds fell asleep.

The sun rose with a golden array of colors, pink, purple, blue, yellow, orange. It spread it's glow to everything it touched, even through and on the windows of the kids room. It weightlessly touched each one of them and warmed their hearts to stay asleep. Except one.

It was the boy who caused all of the excitement the night before. He stayed awake as long as he could, feeling the night was feeling bad in it's lonesome. Until the moon lulled his head asleep with it's song of stars, so he would see the sun in her most beautiful state. And so he did. He watched the glow of the golden hour fade away and the sight of reality sink in.

Since everyone seemed to not show any sign of waking up any time soon, he fell back into his slumber, prepared for whatever may lie ahead, or is he really?
