it didn't take you long to realize that life wasn't what you really expected.
you went thought life, trying to find yourself. then you met a boy. you thought you had found what you'd been looking for all your life. you wanted to spend your life with him. marry him, love him forever. you just wanted to protect him at all costs and you did. even if it meant you looking like an absolute fool.
he treated you good in the beginning and you couldn't get enough of him... texting every second of the day... then things changed.
you two started to text less, he seemed to be losing interest slowly. you began to hate yourself. arguments took place on a daily basis. you always tried to express your feelings about him having so many "female friends, sisters, and cousins" but he seemed to always turn everything back on you.
he wasn't right for you.
it hurt so bad when you finally decided to let go. it took months to finally stop checking all of his social media accounts. you often thought about texting him...
hoping he'd be who you fell in love with. be he was gone.
he changed. change is inevitable.
being that change is inevitable, a boy that really loves you will change for the better not the worst.
you don't miss him, you miss the memories you shared.
you think about the goodmorning texts, and how he used to protect you.
you miss that, without him you feel alone.
you gave up your friends for him so what do you really have left?
although heartbreaks hurt. you can feel it deep in your heart. you build yourself up even stronger.
