Human and Android [Len X Reader Fanfic]

Idea

Have you ever wondered if loving an Android was possible?
Now you all may think it's crazy, but one girl proved that it was possible and that girl was (Y/n) (L/n), a young mastermind when it came to technology.
She was apart of the robotics team at her school and she was also the captain of it.
She has made many creations:
She made the first ever "Rock Paper Scissors" robot.
She made the first ever "Tie" robot who can well, tie ties!
She even helped one of her friends create an entertainment robot!
Though, that robot was pretty crazy when it came to random dancing competitions.
(Y/n)'s life was fun and all that but there was one problem in her life...she was unhappy.
She has been so busy with school and technology that she has never dated once...
The thought made her feel...boring.
Even some of her close friends had a lover by their side who cared about them, except her.
(Y/n) sighed as she stared down at the next blueprint, imagining what would happen if she did have a boyfriend...
He would probably hug her from behind while she did her work, but as of now...there was no one.
Her best friend (F/n) knew she was upset again and decided to cheer her up by hugging her.

"Hey...you okay, (Y/n)?"

"Bleh..."

"Come on (Y/n)...tell me"

"Bleh..."

(F/n) couldn't think of anything else to do so she slapped her once, causing
(Y/n) to get back to Earth.
She rubs her red cheek as she continued writing on the blueprint.

"Thanks (F/n)...I needed that"

"(Y/n), you've been thinking about being alone again, haven't you? Don't lie to me either, I can tell"

She nods, trying to hold back her tears.
(F/n) then hugged her again, trying to make her feel better about herself.

"Look at me, I'm alone with you all the way Kid, I want you to know that"

No, they were the same age, (F/n) was just taller than (Y/n). That's why she called her "Kid" most of the time.
(Y/n) nods as she rubbed her (e/c) eyes, sniffling.

"But I feel boring (F/n)...I'm like Belle from-"

"Don't even give me that Disney crap, you're not boring like Belle..."

"OK I believe you"

(Y/n) sarcastically said. (F/n) then sweatdrops.

"Okay, maybe a little..."

She lowered her eyes, avoiding her gaze as she fiddled with her pencil.
She never knew how boring she can be, especially when making robots all day...wait a minute, she knew how to make robots from small to big! Of course!
Her (e/c) eyes lit up with excitement as she grabbed a piece of paper and began drawing the idea on it.
(F/n) giggles as she pet her head, the tall bastard.

"Heh, whatcha doing (Y/n)? Doodling again?"

"Yes, but not just doodling..."

It took her awhile, but she finally finished the drawing, showing it to
(F/n)...well more like stuffing it right in her face.
She stared at it with wide eyes before turning to the young scientist.

"You serious...?"

"Oh definitely~"

She smiled with confidence as she took the drawing back. (F/n) then smirks with her, rubbing her hands together.

"Then let's get to work~"

They started the project down in
(Y/n)'s basement, where she did most of her work at.
After creating the blueprints, (Y/n) and (F/n) then gathered the parts.
They got multiple boxes of wire and cables, glass, bolts, screws, etc.
After all the parts were gathered, they then began putting the pieces together to create the ultimate creation...a human Android for (Y/n).
It took them about 2 years but they were finally finished.
(F/n) sighed with relief as she sat on the chair next to the table, staring at the blond Android laying upon it.

"Geez...he honestly looks so cute...he better work..."

"I'm sure he will~ Once I press this button, he should activate right away!"

"Then whatcha waiting for? Do it Kid!"

(Y/n) smiles as she then presses the button on the Android's chest, her heart racing with excitement...
But nothing happened.
His eyes were still closed and he didn't move a muscle.
Her (e/c) eyes widened as she kept pressing the button, but no success.
Her creation has failed.

"No...no I thought he would work for sure..."

"Aww (Y/n), don't cry...look, my brother once told me when I failed an experiment that I shouldn't give up that easily...he told me to keep trying, no matter how long it takes...do you get me, (Y/n)?"

(Y/n) then wipes her tears away, smiling with confidence and relief.
She stares at her best friend before embracing them.

"Thanks (F/n)..."

She muffled in (F/n)'s shoulder.
(F/n) then talks to her in a serious tone.

"Then try try again..."
