Fate is a Fragrance
~
Disguised with a smile, a face of torture, hiding behind a mirrored glass

Shattered truths, broken wings, tainted mask

Fate decided fate must be true

Pulling apart and breaking you

The truth is vague, it's a lie

It twists its form in front of your eyes

They tell you you're fine, nothing is wrong, the truth could make it worse

Life is known for a hit and run, this curse is too diverse

~

You're standing there with that look on your face

Darkness clouds your trace

Bonded to the chair, you're struggling with your fate

Drew a knife to strike them dead, you're blinded by your hate

Your world is an illusion, eyes kept on the one you love

Your words are a deception, keeping your mind shut

You're not thinking straight, disguising yourself with a useless mask

There's no point in hiding, everyone is looking beyond that fractured glass

~

She deceives, manipulates, hiding her dark creatures inside her soul

He lies, kills, fractures a thousand minds, hoping for more

Both broken, smiles wiped, in the darkness, reaching out, hoping to be set free

She doesn't remember the day, he never saw the day, to each other they were the key

We lost their soul, still mourning for the outcome

You're in this together, it's burned into your system

Death has cursed them, lives lost, don't just laugh on

For you, lives have no cost, is it because they are now long gone?
