"Are we taking you to school?" My mama asked as she fed my little brother Xavier

"Uh nah actually Leah said she was taking me"

She looked at me with a raised eyebrow guessing she ain't believe me

"What's going on?" My dad asked walking into the kitchen kissing my mom before getting some orange juice from the fridge

"Pay just said Leah's taking her to school"

He closed the fridge looking at me like I just cursed his ass out

"What?" I asked

"You serious?" He asked just as my phone went off with a text from her

Come in! They don't believe you taking me

KL👯‍♀️: Lmao!! Ight let me get Vontae out and I'll be in there

Ight. It's unlocked so just walk in

I put my phone up looking up and seeing them looking at me then at each other

"What?" I laughed a bit

"Where Leah at?"

"Family" I heard Leah yell

"She's really here" My dad said as a smile appeared on his face

I know this is what he's always wanted. I know he wants to be able to be with all his kids with no problems

She walked in with Vontae but I noticed her clothes were kinda baggie

"Hey Herbo" She said causing my dad's face to drop.

I knew she was joking so I laughed

"I'm just playing. Hey daddy" She smiled hugging him "Say hey grandpa" She said to Vontae who just giggled

"Come here little man" He took him from her

"Hey Mama Kathy" She hugged my mom

"Hey baby girl" She returned the hug

"Aw my little bro" She kissed Xavier "Where's My baby Joshua?"

"Upstairs" My dad said as he played with Vontae

"Let me see my nephew" I said taking him from my dad

"Ya'll always taking them from me" My dad said frowning and crossing his arms

"Stop acting like a damn baby" My mom laughed

"Josh" Leah yelled

"Is that Leah" He yelled back running down the stairs and right into her arms
