"Hey!"
"AGH!!" I screamed and collapsed to the ground like a lost puppy, allowing my books and loose papers to fly from my hands.
"Someone's jumpy?" Jack crosses his arms and looks down at me, giving off a wicked laugh. Damn him. So muscly and strong, his black indigo-blue top sitting tightly around his broad shoulders, his hair waxed back and dark chinos for pants holy lord help me.
"Don't be such a dick, help me pick all this up." I reluctantly pulled myself up and picked up all my possessions.
Jack chuckles and bent over, picking up a book which had landed literally on his feet "Fifty shades of grey?" He said rather loudly, amusement singing through his voice.
"Give that back!" I snatched the book from his hands and placed it into my bag. "It's my friends..."
"Whoa aha, at least try not to get offended at everything I say Tristan." damn him and his looks.
"I haven't got time for this, I'm already late." I huffed, pulling my bag up on my shoulders.
He leant over and whispered in my ear, pushing me against the locker as he did. 'C’mon cutie, just five seconds.." I felt his breath hit my neck, hot and moist, just behind my ear. His toned body pressed against my fragile structure, it felt so right, it felt like I was safe.. Wait what the fuck am I doing?!
I shoved him off me in an instant "Don’t touch me asshole!!"
"Don’t be like that babe!" Jack whined.
“Fuck this I’m out” I stormed down the hallway of my school to Science.
What a fucking prick, in fact all exes are pricks. It's not like I’m the one that broke up with him, he broke up with me. And I know that he was seeing people behind my back that worthless asshole, his little act at the party proved all my theories.
Mr. Green staunched me as I walked in.. Late to class.. "Tristan.. Your late again.."
F*ck.. "Sorry sir, I was caught up in-"
"Sit down Tristan, don’t make this a habit, don’t want to have another chat with your parents.." He muttered with a sick grin.. ass-wipe. I swear if he wasn’t a teacher, someone would have beaten his face in by now.
I weaved through the multiple tables to be greeted by my best (and only) friend Dylan.
"Nice evasion Jack-Ass. Where the hell were you?" He whisper/shouted to me in his seat.
I threw my bag on the ground and huffed out the dead butterflies Jack just gave me, at least I hoped they were dead. "Jack stopped me again, in the hallway.."
Dylan sighed with sympathy "Dude, you gotta get over him, you guys broke up months ago, maybe its time to.. Loosen up.. " he smirked as he finished his sentence, and I knew exactly what he meant.
