Flint

Darkness. For some reason i can't see anything but the pitch black abyss that has swallowed me whole. All I remember is laying in my twin sized bed and closing my eyes to suddenly awake to this void of emptiness. Everytime I breath I can see the white of my breath as it leaves my body and now I feel a cold shiver down my spine. I wish I could tell myself it was a joke but I could feel some else with me, someone watching me. My breathing begins to quicken and my heart starts to beat like i'm running a marathon, I can see it in the darkness.
As it comes into view it's like nothing i've seen in my life but for some reason i'm no longer scared. I'm just curious to what i'm looking at, the colorless creature looks almost human but has no features before I can say anything it starts to rapidly shivers and breaks down its form to small floating orbs. There must've been about 60 orbs before they started quickly smashing together and taking the form of a teenager. If it wouldn't have been for the glow of light coming off of that thing i wouldn't have realized who it's form was.
...it was like looking in the mirror. It looked just like me but it wasn't me at all. He had the same black curly hair that falls over his blue and grey eyes just like mine when it's not put up. He even wore the same white tank top and blue shorts that i fell asleep in, the only thing that was different was my...well his voice.
    The other me starts to step closer then stops and clears his throat "AHEM".
His voice boomed as if he were talking right next to my ear, i start to take a step back but he continues to get closer and says "I tried to take a form you are most used to, I am not your enemy so please list- before he can finish he starts to break apart again, " i'm under attack but you must find my library".
I have so many questions but i know it's not the time so i ask the most important one "How am I supposed to find your library?, I don't even know what you are"
He falls to his knees and starts to shiver again before screaming " YOU ARE NO LONGER A CHILD, LOOK FOR THE SIGNS AND GATHER YOUR ALLIES, RUN".
I start to run through the darkness when light starts to erase everything in its path. I can feel it gaining so i do what i've been taught. I face my problems. I stop and turn to the light holding out my hands giving into whatever is coming at me, i'm ready.
Suddenly i'm back in my bed and my alarm is blaring like crazy, thank god i'm still alive. I was sure if i didn't get out any sooner that thing would give me a stroke...he said to find the signs though. What did he mean? I look over to the alarm to turn it off and see that it's only six but as i go to press snooze the numbers begin to shift.
