Sebastian went straight to his hideout. He didn't care what time it was, he didn't care how long he was going to spend in there, all he knew was he had to get better. Really fucking fast. So he camped out in there. He didn't eat, drink, and rarely slept. Only when it became unbearable did he finally do that stuff.
He passed out from exhaustion from time to time, but as he woke up, he jumped right back into practice like his life depended on it. He had a room created a room big enough to basically run laps in. Flames charred the floor. Ice spiked out from the corners. Everytime he shot several spells it looked like the room turned into a raid. Bright lights flashed against the grey, metal walls, being reflected back at him.
He had to do spells faster, stronger, and efficient. He remembered how to actually block the Twins spells, and he continued to practice like this every time. He knew that if he missed the spell trying to hit them, he could loose his life. So he used non-lethal spells, but the spells hurt a lot, but that only pushed him harder to get better. One of the most spells he tried using was teleportation. He had to master that.
If they shot a spell at him too fast for him to think or even move to block it, he had to teleport out of the way in an instant. He had to learn how to teleport faster than he could think where to reappear. He had to teleport almost as if it's uncontrollable. He did this for several days. He even learned how to make clones of himself. They wouldn't last for more than a couple of minutes but as he trained with them, he got used to it and they lasted longer, and he even had better connections into their subconscious.
He learned how to control them like puppets or cut them off for a bit. One of the most efficient spells he learned in an instant was illusions. That was the easiest. Unlike the other spells, he only needed his imagination for this one. If he could imagine it, he could make it. He knew he also had to train his mind, but he had so many things to train on, that that was something he couldn't focus on.
After he didn't know how long, he knew his magic was getting stronger extraordinarily as well as his control, but his body was having too much of a strain on it. He didn't let it rest, so his magic couldn't refuel itself faster. Actually, as time went by, it kept getting slower and slower. He would wake up and feel weaker than he did previously waking up. So he decided it was enough for now. He decided he was going to let himself sleep for a while and then go back to his apartment for some food and water.
He fell asleep thinking to himself I need to improve the entrance of this place as well as unlock Don's magic. I'll work on that tomorrow and text him at the end of the day.
The next day, Sebastian did just that. He woke up and immediately snuck back into his home. He pigged out on all the food he had in the fridge. He felt fat for doing so but it didn't bother him much because was he was looking rather skinny. He packed up a lot of food and several water bottles and headed back to the hideout.
When he got back, he went to the computer and looked at the instructions for the new entrance. He found it earlier which is why he thought about now. He needed to first locate the new location, it needed to be somewhere not too close to his appointment building but also not far off. He decided to have it in that semi open alleyway a little ways down the block.
The doors were more electronic than magic. He had an idea. So he installed the new entrance. He almost got caught several times, but that part is just too boring. At the end of the day, he sent the text to Don to come over the next morning and spent the rest of his time relaxing.
