Sebastian sat down and so did Don. Sebastian knew that he needed to send magical energy into Don without him realizing, so he had to distract him.
"I was informed that there are only two ways for someone to break the spell hiding ones magic from deep inside. They can either A: have the one who casted the spell in the first place undue the spell, or the can sacrifice another person's magic to give it to that person's magic.
"But I recently looked over the files my dad left and found out that there is another way for you to unlock yours, Don. Tell me, have you ever had a vision or something similar?" Sebastian had to focus on not pushing too much energy into Don to have him not notice.
"Actually, two. The first one was more of..." Don hesitated. "Bone Crushers life flashed before my eyes, instead of his own. It was before I had to kill him. Seeing his past, how his family struggled and why he was forced to do the things he did... I swore never to kill again because of it. Never again."
Sebastian nodded. "Yes. That is a very noble oath to take. Remember that. What was the second thing?" Almost halfway.
"The second was more recently. I saw someone else's flashback." Sebastian could see the room a little by using the magical energy like a pair of eyes for himself. He noticed that Don was waiting for a reaction, but he had to concentrate. "I later on found out that I actually saw the birth of the Twins! I was seeing the birth through the eyes of their father."
This caught Sebastians attention. He opened up his left eye and raised that eyebrow. "How'd that feel?"
The way he asked that question felt more like it was just two kids casually chatting. But Sebastian sensed hurt and fear from Don. He must still be scarred by it.
"It felt... Dark... Cold... I could feel the darkness in him. I could feel the wickedness fill the room." Don shivered. Sebastian wanted to do the same.
"If his children are this powerful then I can only imagine what he is like..." Sebastian turned a bit pale. It kinda did scare Sebastian just how powerful people can get. "Well, we can address that later. Right now we can now get your magic."
"How are we gonna do that?"
"Well, I need to do my own... Thing. But you. You have to go back through your memories. Back to the point where he put the spell on you." Just a little bit more...
"Will... Will it hurt?" Sebastian could tell that Don didn't want any more pain than he needed.
"Ooohoh yeah." Sebastian said with a evil grin across his face, opening his left eye for the sentence. But inside, he felt bad about doing the next step. "Just let it play out. I know it's gonna hurt, I know how badly you want it to end, but you have to let it flow."
"Okay-" Don said. Sebastian finished and Don glowed brightly now. Don finally noticed his body was emitting a golden glow. "Uh oh."
Sebastian now forced Don back into his own memories. It was a painful spell, causing Don to scream and his body slightly go paralyzed. His arms, though, spazzed their way up to his chest. He screamed while tears immediately ran down his face. Just let it play out, Don. Please.
The problem was if Don didn't accept the spell, he would build the pain more and more, making it harder to let it play. And he would have to relive every single memory of his for all eternity. But Sebastian believed in Don. Sebastian saw Don open his eyes a bit and stopped screaming, but then he looked like his body got kicked back a little and he started screaming again.
Please... Don...
After a while more, his screams sounded weak, and his skin started to look pale. The spell was killing him. He got hit by another round again. He sounded weak. Sebastian now felt regret and truly wanted to undue the spell while he had the chance, but something kept telling him to let it happen.
Don started to bleed out of his nose now. His eyes were already bloodshot and his body looked ice cold. He opened his eyes once more, and Sebastians heart stopped, thinking he just killed Don, but then noticed that Don started speaking. It was too quiet, so he used magic to enhance his senses, and he saw something that touched him.
He saw a slight shadow standing over Don. At first, Sebastian was startled, but the shadow slowly walked over and sat next to Don's head. And it started to stroke his head. And he said. "I missed you... So much..."
This is where things got weird. Even though there was no one else around, no magic was sensed and no voice was heard, Sebastian... Felt someone reply "I missed you too."
The figure hand their hair drop down in front of them, dangling over Don's head. It was a girl. She moved it back behind her ear. To Sebastians surprise, Don's blood evaporated into golden light. And Sebastian felt a warm feeling in his heart.
He knew. It was Sarah. She was here, helping.
After that, Sebastian could faintly see her stand up and look towards him. She did a slight nod then vanished. Don closed his eyes once more, but didn't scream. Instead, his body glowed yellow. Then went back to normal. His skin color returned and he was alright. He opened his eyes.
"I remember, I remember when he did it, and I... I feel different. I can feel the power in me."
"Good." Sebastian said getting up. "Congratulations. You got your magic now." He walked over to Don. He wasn't going to tell Don that Sarah was here. Or at least her spirit was. The reason why was because he already knew He held out his hand to help Don up. Don was about to take his hand when he realized that there was one tear drop on his right hand. Sebastian knew it was Sarah tear, and his heart felt better now.
