Wow, it's been a while huh?!  I haven't talked about this sequel in a while. Honestly, my plans were to get this out a month after ETINF...  But here we are.  I'm glad to see that you're here to join me for part two!  Hopefully with this update it will motivate me to get things done faster.  We'll see. Anyways! Welcome back and enjoy the first chapter of my first squeal. 🖤

The breakroom was a pale yellow color. There was a small counter against the wall with a microwave and a coffee pot. On one side was an electric stove and on the other side was a stained refrigerator. There were four round tables and four chairs at each table. A vending machine against the wall closest by the door and a small window that looked out into a parking lot on the left wall, it was always shut. The temperature was always kept at 76° and there were small dark stains on the carpet.

Resting my head on the round break room table I let out a small sigh. I've had this job for about a month now. It was a painstaking job but it paid well so I didn't complain to much about it. Though I never imaginaed myself typing all day, it was the only job that I could have with the word 'college dropout' written on my resume.

I chose this job mostly because it paid just over the minimum wage that Massachusetts offered and settled at a little higher wages of  about 12 dollars it was in Everett Massachusetts a little bit of a drive from where I resided in New Bedford Massachusetts. To be honest it was a little over an hour. But it was worth it since where I lived jobs were about as scarce as water in the desert.

It was a good job, I sat at a small cubical and typed all day, I made reservations and answered phones. I didn't really have to talk much. And I never said more than I had to. I hated small talk and I think that's really what got me in the job in the first place. My boss was an old man named John. He understood my situation and he liked to give me more hours when I asked.

I have a feeling that I know him from somewhere, I just can't but my finger on it.

My work shift is a part time one 8-2 but it's perfect for me,  it gives me all the time that I needed to make enough money to pay for my apartment down by the South end of new Bedford. Not an ideal place but still good enough

On the weekends I like to take a walk down to the beach, New Bedford is a costal area and I lived about 15 minutes away from the beach. The beaches are kinda gross; very Rocky, the water has a green tint to it and trash was just about everywhere, but there is one beach that always catches my attention. The beach is called Fort Taber and it's filled with run down military bunkers and hideouts.  I like to visit them sometimes. But I do get an eerie feeling that something is watching me everytime I do so. I guess I do it because it reminds me of home, of all the eerie feelings that I felt while I was back at home on the sunny side California. But with all of the wildfires that's been spreading I guess it's a good thing that I ended up on the other side of the country.

My name is Timothy Wright and I went from being a man who was getting hunted down by the supernatural to just being an ordinary 30 year old man. Its strange how things work. I really did feel like I would never get out of my life alive. But I did and I managed to keep a job and a home. Even made a few friends.

  Though nobody knows my past.

To them I'm just a normal man who moved away from California to get away from all of the heat and the drama to Massachusetts a place that's colder than my soul and has more drama than a middle aged woman's Netflix recommendations.

Do I miss it?  Not really, I don't remember my last few days of being there. I just remember waking up in a bus station and just like that my new life had begun.

A lot of people ask me, why did I stay here?  Why don't I go somewhere else?  Well, that is because of the history and the sights. The city itself was an old one. Some houses being about as old as the country. Another thing was that, it was as far away from my old life as I could get. Nobody would think to look for me here, no one would think, little old New Bedford. The armpit of the country.

I got up from my chair, and went back to work. Typing away at the computer and answering calls.

An hour into this, my computer began to glitch and the image began to change and convert into a new image. A face.

  "We need YOoou"

The words we're slightly distorted and my eyes widens.

"M-me?"

"Yes you.  Who else?"

The voice flooded through the speakers, yet no one came to see what the commotion was all about. I just stared at the screen, my mouth gaping. I shut off the monitor and I stood up fast, knocking my desk chair over and gaining a few concerned glances.

"Hey, you alright?" Sheila, a young intern asked as she walked by with a few cups of Dunkin donuts coffee.

"Yeah, I'm.. Fine" I responded, letting out a small sigh. "It's just been a rough week."

"It's only Tuesday!" She exclaimed,  giggling as she kept on walking. I rolled my eyes at her and I picked up my chair again and sat down.

"Damn kids" I mumbled under my breath and I turned on the monitor, brushing off whatever I saw as a little side effect of not taking my pills this morning.

I went back to my work and didn't have any problems for the rest of the time. By time I had gotten home I had forgotten about the whole thing. It was nothing, I'm sure of it.
