I follow as Sam ran to catch Simmons, holding out his phone.

"I need you to track a phone call. There's a man on this phone. He's the head of their human operations and he has Carly hostage." Sam told Simmons.

Dutch grabbed the phone.

"The call was placed en route. I'm hacking into the phone's camera now." Dutch informed.

"There, that's it! That's a live stream from the camera." The blonde continued pointing to the screen.

"Someplace…hold on. I can triangulate this. Okay, it's Chicago cell sites. There, I've got it. Trump Tower, Chicago. Lower penthouse." Dutch announced.

"I'm going." Sam said firmly.

"You sure kid?" Simmons asked.

"I have never been more sure about anything in my life." Sam stated.

"I can be there in like 15 hours tops." Sam added, determined.

"Do you want me to come with?" I asked him.

"Lily, I have to do this on my own. For once in my life I need to stop depending on you to help me. I have to save her on my own." Sam gives me a long hug before running out of the base.

I run out after Sam I couldn't let him rescue Carly on his own. He could be killed by a Decepticon or Dylan. I couldn't let him die.

"Sam! Sam?! Wait!" I screamed.

Sam was nowhere in sight and it freighted me. I don't know what I would do if he got himself killed while trying to save Carly. I hope he had at least someone with him who's willing to help him. I run back inside to find Mearing, except she's nowhere to be, it was not good considering. I desperately needed one the SUV to get to Chicago, and I needed it now. Grabbing one of Mearing’s secretaries from the computer.

"I need one of your cars,"

The guy doesn't answer me right away which frustrated me to no end. This is a time critical situation here. I have to rescue Sam from infinite death which is pretty much having me scared out of my wits I don't need a dead Sam on my conscious. Simmons wheels over to me and the freighted guy who looked like he wanted to pee himself from my eyes which were burning a hole through his skull right about now.

"What's going on?" Simmons asked us.

"I need one of their SUVs to go and help Sam." I respond.

"You Witwicky’s are always into something." Simmons sighed.

"Don't ruin the vehicle," Mearing tosses me the car keys to one of the SUVs. I quickly thank her by hugging her, she looks shocked.

"Thank you!" I say aloud.

Once inside of the car I immediately start it up and put the key in the ignition, taking off. I turn on my backup phone pulling up the GPS for this monstrous event. God knows what I will see in the Chicago. I didn't know what to do or what will been awakening me when I make it to Chicago.

As I approached the highway it was completely destroyed.

"Jesus." I whispered.

I had no idea how I was suppose to get to Chicago now and that wasn't good. I needed to make it over this pile of rubble. I turn the car back on and try to drive around the rubble but that didn't seem like a bright option. I think of some kind of solution for this dilemma, yet I kept coming up short and that's not a good thing to have in a life or death situation.
