the currents in life that tell you which way to turn
the skyscrapers in life that you will never be as tall as
the brick walls in life that stop you from going where you please
the cement in life that makes life harder to get through as time goes on
they are powerless
compared to the strongest force known to mankind
compared to the greatest thing mankind can do
love one another.
the funny thing is,
everyone has this force in them
just not many know how to use it
some abuse it
some mistake it for abuse
(i'm sorry for those who mistake it for abuse)
it is okay to hate people
to not forgive those who have done you wrong
but when you do that
you encourage
the current to be stronger
the skyscrapers to get taller
the brick walls to be thicker
the cement to be harder
and worst of all,
life get the best of you.
