Bitten

I walked out of my bathroom with a towel wrapped around my body. I had just had a nice relaxing shower and I was getting ready to have a binge watching session of Stranger Things. 

"Oh hey B!" 

"AHH!" I jumped and screamed. 

"OH MY GOD MAC WHAT'RE YOU DOING!!" I hit my best friend across the arm.

"Oww! Your brothers let me in. " she shrugged. 

"Yeah okay, but what're you doing here it's 10.00pm and we have the first day of school tomorrow!" I said picking out some clothes to wear knowing she was going to force me to go somewhere with her. 

"Well I hacked into your dads radio and heard everything he was saying. He said that they're searching for a dead body in the woods tonight." She said excitedly. 

"Dude, you've gotta stop hacking into my Dads radio! And how is that our problem??" I said rolling my eyes and walking back into the bathroom to change. 

I threw on my clothes and walked back out again brushing out my long dirty blonde hair. 

"Yeah okay, but I wanna go check it out and try to find the body!" Macey said as she took a seat on my bed. 

"Yeah no, what if my dad catches us?" I said stating the obvious. "And plus do you really think my brothers would let me out this late?" 

"We'll ask them and if they don't then we'll just sneak out?" she shrugged. 

"Ugh fine whatever, lets go" 

We both walked down stairs to see my two older brothers Stiles and Scott sitting on the couch watching a movie. 

"Hey guys, what're you watching?" I asked them both try to get on a good note before asking if we can go out. 

"I'm showing Scott Star Wars!" Stiles said enthusiastically. 

Scott rolled his eyes and gave a half smile. 

You see, at first it was my Dad, mum, Stiles and Myself but my mum died when I was very young. I never really knew her so it isn't as sad for me when we talk about her as I can't remember any memories I had with her. Anyway, long story short my Dad fell in love with Melissa, Scott's mum and they both got married about a year ago. Scott and Stiles were more then happy when we found out we were all gonna be brothers and sister, I on the other hand was scared. I had grown up without a Mother for most of my life and I was scared for the change, I've always hated change. 

"So boys I wanted to ask can we go o-" 

"No" they both cut me off simply. 

"What? Why not??" I asked. 

"Why do you want to go out in the first place?" Scott asked. 

"Because...there's a dead body in the woods." I mumbled. 

"Oh God Belle, you know what happened the last time" Stiles spoke. 

"Yeah I know but I wanna do something fun before school tomorrow, you know? Live a little!" I said. 

A couple years ago Scott and Stiles both went into the woods one night to also search for a dead body. Stiles got caught by my dad who's the Sheriff and was sent back home. Scott was still in the woods and ended up getting bitten by a werewolf. So now he's a teenage wolf. unbelievable I know. 

"Yeah no" they both said. 

"Ugh fine" I said as Mac and I both went back up to my room. 

"Plan A never works" Mac said shutting my door and walking over to my window where I was already climbing out. 

I jumped down from a few meters up and waited for Mac to come down, then we were off to the woods.

"Ugh can we just find this body already, it's taking too long!" I complained while we both walked through the dark, deserted woods. 

"Uh B, do you know where we are?" Mac asked worried. 

"No! I thought you knew exactly where we were!?" I yelled at her.

"No I don't, I though you kn-" 

"Wait Mac shut up" I shushed her. 

"What why?" 

"Shoosh! I think there's someone here with us." 

We both took a step closer to eachother, scared and affraid. Our heads snapped in a direction where we heard a low hissing. 

"B-Belle, i'-m sca-red" Mac said nearly on the verge of tears. 

"Macey shoosh" I told her, my voice shaking. 

Then the unexpected came. 

Something came at us and pushed us into a huge tree, we both fell to the ground in pain. 

"Macey? Macey are you okay!" I said to her. 

As I pulled her body closer to me I could see she was unconscious from the hit. A large cut showing on her head. I tried to stand but something came and pinned me to the ground. 

It was a boy, who only looked a few years older than Macey and I. 

"Who..who are you?" I said with tears streaming down my face. 

"I did it- I finally found you both." he said but as he talked I could see blood dripping from his mouth and he didn't have normal teeth....he had fangs.

"What do yo-u want with u-s?" I managed to crock out. 

"You two are the chosen ones" he smirked. 

It all happened so fast. One minute he was talking, the next...an excruciating pain shot through my neck. I screamed histerically. He bit me. And Macey too. 

I felt blood trickle down my neck onto the dead leaves. My body felt paralysed. I laid there as tears streamed down my face, not knowing if I could move or not, until I heard Mac softly whimper. I told myself that we could die right now if I don't go and get help, so I forced myself to stand. Pain shot through my whole body but I had to fight through it, for Mine and Maceys life. 

I grabbed Macey and wrapped her arm around my shoulder and my other arm around her waist holding her up. Right now i'm so wishing I was old enough to drive (she's 15) because I now have to carry Mac 7 blocks.

I've felt like i've been walking for hours. Everything hurts. My neck is still dripping with blood and Macey's neck and head also aren't getting any better. 

We finally made it to my street just as I was starting to get extremely dizzy. I had to fight it. I am only 4 houses away... 3 houses away... 2 houses away... 1 house away...

I walked up to the front door and used the rest of my energy to knock hard on the door. The door immediately burst open as my arms became too weak. I dropped Macey and fell into someones arms. 

"Belle!?" Stiles called me before my world became darkness.
