the next day,I took up my usual seat near Sammie and Lisa but something has changed.I suddenly found myself waiting for his arrival.While waiting,I chatted with Sammie.Our little talk stopped when I saw him talk to Ms.Ezrie something so complicated,then he took up his seat in front of me.I find it really absurd that I can't talk to him(although I am a natural conversationalist).Even though I can't let my eyes leave him,I proceded to listen to Mr.Acuña,who will be teaching us Physics for the whole day.Although Physics was fairly hard and I need to concentrate,I stole glances at Naj.He was busy writing the examples Mr.Acuña wrote on the whiteboard.I tried to look busy so no one(especially my seatmates Sammie and Lisa,and of course our teacher Mr.Acuña).And then the unexpected happened...

Naj:What course will you be taking?(with a little smile)
Me:Political Science =)
Naj:So you want to be a lawyer? =)
Me:Well,yeah.=)
Naj:So you think Miriam Defensor made a mistake defending CJ Corona?
Me:Yeah,she knows that CJ Corona is guilty.She always defends the guilty parties like CJ Corona and Joseph Estrada.
Naj:Not always.Maybe she caught the wrong end of the stick.
While we were talking,it seemed like the Earth stopped moving.At that moment,there was nothing else important except Naj and me.Then,I looked into his deep-set brown eyes and smiled to myself.And that moment felt like it was pure magic.Ah,this is love,I thought to myself.Afterwards,Mr.Acuña dismissed us for lunch.
I went to lunch with Angie and Eva but my mind kept thinking about him.I had a good lunch but I can't wait until we were sent back in.When we got back,I saw Naj sipping a cup of Moonleaf Wintermelon Tea.We waited until Mr.Acuña was ready to give the sample tests.Good thing I faired well on the tests.After class,Naj went past me and hailed a jeepney.I was dambstruck knowing that he almost touched me.And on that very afternoon,I went home knowing that this mere crush has turned into a fine start for adoration.
