Have you just ever just asked yourself what you've given up on daily? I do, and it's a hard question to answer every time I try to answer only to end up lying to myself. I guess I should introduce myself my name is Silver oak. I know pretty weird name my mom named me that because my eyes look silver. I also have dark brown hair almost black and I have luscious pink plush lips ,not to brag. My skin is pretty pale that most people crack jokes about me being a walking corpse. I live in a Two-story house that I live in with my perfect family.
"Silver, honey get down here your breakfast it's getting cold!" I hear mom yelling from down the hall. I hurry and put on some black joggers and a plain gray sleeveless shirt. I run out of my room and smile at mother and father and take a seat at the dining table and I started devouring my food.
"Silver, how many times do we have to tell you to eat like a lady?'' My mom says, disapprovingly. I start eating my food like a proper lady and once I'm finished I sprang from my chair making a loud squeaking noise. I kiss my parents cheek and pull my book bag on quickly.
" What the rush young lady?" My dad says putting down the newspaper down causing my mom to look up.
"I'm going to miss the bus If I don't get to the bus stop now and I can't mess up my perfect record of attendance!" I smile at them sweetly before they nod their heads. I open up the door letting fresh air in and I take a final step out of the house smiling because of the sun rays shining on me. I start sprinting towards my bus stop where my awaiting friends are and we're are ready to begin a new year as seniors and with full of hope.
