"This is absolutely ridiculous," Heather straightened up her fake glasses and readjusted her heavily padded rear end. Her ugly, green dress poofed out like a bloated goblin, and the wig on her head made her feel like a founding father, "I look like an old British woman."
"At least you aren't a pilgrim," Matt snapped. His outfit looked as if it had been pulled straight from a Kindergarten Thanksgiving Program.
"Would you two shut up?" Christian walked confidently beside the two wearing a hoodie and sunglasses.
"How come you look normal?" Heather frowned.
"I used to work for a bank. No one will know me looking like this."
"Isn't Kilby supposed to be patrolling the area here?" Matt looked around.
"Hey guys," Kilby's voice whispered, but he was nowhere to be seen.
"He was going to be a jogger, but when we realized he was cracking the roads, we painted him up as a tree," Christian pointed over to a large oak that had a bright smile and big eyes.
"Hey guys!" Kilby waved.
"Stay still!" Christian whispered as Kilby closed his eyes and mouth, "We don't want to give ourselves away."
The crew approached the house where Old Man Lura was still mowing his lawn.
"How long do you think he can keep that up?" Matt asked.
"I don't know," Heather squinted due to not having her real glasses, "You would think he'd have it mowed by now."
Christian quickly pulled the two aside behind some bushes. He didn't hold on for too long because two thoughts at the same time is a lot to process and created a horrendous headache, "Listen. Will you two please be quiet? If anyone hears us, the plan is over."
"Christian?" Matt said.
"Yes?"
"When do we get our superhero names?"
Christian rolled his eyes, "Later."
"Why not now?"
"We're kind of busy."
"Technically," Heather grinned, "We had time to crouch behind a bush, so it seems like while we're here, we have plenty of time to get names assigned."
"Fine," Christian huffed before thinking.
"Me first," Kilby whispered from afar.
"Kilby...you can be...um...bedrock."
Kilby smiled, "I'm Bedrock!"
"Now be quiet!" He turned to Heather, "You can be..."
"I want to be called Evade," she interrupted.
"Fine. Be Evade."
"What am I???" Matt jumped excitedly before Christian pulled him back to his knees, "Give me something cool!"
"You can be...Shield Boy."
Matt's face fell, "Really? 'Shield Boy'? And what are you going to be? 'Mind Reader Dude'?"
"I'll just be...'Coger'."
"Way to hide your identity," Heather said.
"Who's there?" Old Man Lura asked from across the street, "I hear bushes talking."
Everyone quickly stood up before heading across the street to meet him.
"I'm sorry, sir," Christian smiled, "My name is Chris---"
