Chapter 3

Xavier POV

I saw her coming out of the college and now she was walking to her cafe where she worked.

I knew everything about her. Emerald, nineteen year old who was an orphan. I knew where she lived and worked. Who were her friends.

I knew every bloody thing.

EVERYTHING.

I noticed she started walking quickly, I guess she felt my presence. It was better if I'd stop following her for the time being than to get caught. I saw a small park opposite to the cafe and sat on one of the benches. I was hungry so I entered the cafe.

Entering the cafe I was welcomed by a fantastic aroma and noticed that it was Emerald who was baking some tasty looking cupcakes. I took a seat and saw her coming towards me. She was beautiful.

Very beautiful.

She timidly walked up to me and asked in a very polite voice.

"Hi, what would you like to have?"

I so wanted to say "You" but controlled my self and said.

"I'd like to have a coffee and those delicious cupcakes you were just baking".

She quickly wrote my order and went back to kitchen. She came back in some time with my order, I don't know what was I thinking and said "wait!"

She was kinda shocked as I saw her expression. I asked her if she could join me but she refused and said she had other customers to take care of. I finished my meal and waited outside the cafe until Emerald came out.

She came out and it was pretty dark, how could she be so careless? It was already so dark and it wasn't safe for any beautiful girl like her to walk all by her self at this time. So I kept following her to make sure she reached her home safe and sound. But...I think she again felt my presence as she took a taxi and went back to her home.

I was kind of happy but sad at the same moment because I couldn't see her for some more time.

Shivering due to the cold I thought it was better to go back to my apartment because tomorrow was going to be a really exciting day. I smirked and couldn't wait for tomorrow morning.
