Selenas POV:
I rolled over and tried to block the bright light that was on my face. I reached around the bed for another pillow to cover my face with when I hit Justin in the face.
“Ow!” He shouted causing me to open my eyes to find him staring at me all confused.
“Oh I’m sorry hunny the suns in my face and I wanted—” I paused realizing what happened. I knew Justin realized it to when he saw my face change. We both turned to our nightstands looking for our phones.
“Oh my god Justin I am so sorry! What time is it!? Why didn’t anyone call! Where’s my phone!” I shouted hoping out of bed and running into our living room where I heard a phone vibrating from the kitchen.
“Justin! We left them in the kitchen last night!” I shouted grabbing both of our phones and running back into the bedroom. Justin was rushing to put his clothes on and to pack the rest of his bag.
“What time is it!?” He shouted as he grabbed a beanie from his bag and threw on a zip up sweater and some black sweatpants.
“Uh uh it’s-” I stuttered fumbling as I tried to unlock my phone “It’s only 530 so we only over slept an hour an a half. Here!” I said holding Justin’s phone towards him as Scooter’s name and face popped up on his screen.
“Fuck!” Justin shouted before answering “Scooter I am so sorry, we were awake till 3 and I don’t even know what happened.”
Justin started apologizing and I ran over to my dresser looking for something easy to throw on to take Justin to the airport.
“Wait.. wh-what?” Justin said as he held up his hand causing me to stop running around the room like crazy trying to get ready ”Is everyone okay!?” He asked shocked.
I stood there confused for the next 5 minutes as he stayed on the phone with Scooter. From what I understood there was a sever wind storm in North Carolina, all the airports have been shut down, power outages have happened all over the state, houses were crushed by trees. It sounded awful.
“Yeah, well. Alright. Text me if you hear about anything else I’m going to text everyone. Okay, bye Scoot.” Justin said as he hung up the phone. “Is everyone on set okay?” I asked Justin worried. “I don’t know hun, Scooter said he assumed so but I’m going to text Alex and Dani real quick. Go turn on the news in the living room.” He said as he started texting on his phone quickly.
I did what he asked and turned on the local city news and waited. But it didn’t take long for them to talk about the storms that have been happening througout North Carolina.
“Babe come here.” I waved for Justin to come sit next to me. He did and he wrapped his arms around me as we watched the news reporters talk about everything that’s been happening, all the power outages, they showed videos people recorded on their cellphones of trees falling on houses and cars, pictures of telephone poles in the middle of roads. It was awful.
Justin’s phone vibrated on his lap and he read the text quickly “Everyone on sets okay, but Alex said that they’re sending everyone home for two weeks because the barn where the rest of the movie was going to be shot is destroyed so they need to rent out a warehouse and re create the set. So it looks like I’m going to be going with you back to Cali.” Justin said with a smile on his face.
“Yay!” I shouted excitedly as I jumped on him.
“Calm down hun” Justin laughed as he began tickeling my sides.
“Stop!” I shouted hysterically as I tried to crawl away from him. After a few minutes of torture he finally stopped and I sat down next to him resting my head on his shoulder. We sat there quietly for the next few minutes watching more news reports about the storm until Justin finally spoke up.
“Ya know babe, this is really a bittersweet thing.” He said.
“Well of course, it’s awful about all these people in North Carolina losing their homes and everything. I’m just excited and happy you weren’t there when it all happened. And that I get more time with you than I expected.” I replied with a smile.
“No that’s not what I meant Sel. In 2 more weeks I’m going to have to go back to North Carolina and finish shooting the movie, so instead of being home with you for a full month it’s split up into 2 weeks.” He pouted. I hadn’t thought about that, but he was right I’d get him for 2 weeks then he’d be gone for another 2 then he’d be home for good but then in 2 more weeks I leave for my tour.
“Ugh.” I sighed as I thought more and more about it “That sucks.. 2 weeks is just enough time for me to be happy you’re with me and then you get taken away again.”
“I know.. but, we’ll make it work.” He said as he started to rub my shoulders.
“We always do.” I replied ”How about we had back to Cali tomorrow night after my meeting instead of waiting another day and try to squeeze the month we thought we had to plan the wedding together into our 2 weeks. That way when your done shooting your movie we can just relax before I go on tour?”
“Whatever you want Sel. I already know I’m not really going to have that much of an input into the wedding anways.” He laughed.
I softly slapped him on the forehead “Stop ittt! You’re going to have just as much say into everything as I am.” I stated firmly.
“Yeah okay babe, if you say so.” He laughed and rolled his eyes at me.
Justins POV:
“Well I’m glad to see my stuff got out okay.” I said as I opened the cardboard boxes that were on my doorstep as me and Selena came home.
“I’m tired.” Selena whined as she dropped her bags on my kitchen floor and grabbed a glass of water.
“We have a busy day tomorrow so let’s just hangout here all day alright? It’s only 8am. Lets go back to bed.” I said as I took the glass of water out of her hand and took a drink for myself.
“That sounds like a wonderful plan.” Selena agreed and snatched the glass back out of my hand and headed upstairs to my room.

I woke up around 2pm and Selena wasn’t next to me anymore. I stood up and stretched letting out a loud moan. I had a nightmare while I was sleeping so my shirt was sticky from my sweat so I took it off and threw it on my floor and walked downstairs in my boxer briefs. I walked into the living room and didn’t see her, I checked the kitchen and she wasn’t there, I checked the theater room the rec room all the bathrooms but still I couldn’t find her.
I grabbed my phone and dialed her number as I headed to my back porch to see what the weather was like. As I got closer to the back door the louder I heard a phone ringing. When I got to the sliding door I watched Selena run up the steps of my pool to the chair where her phone was and wipe her hands off with a towel, pick up her phone and smile when she saw it was me.
“Hey babe I’m sorry I left. I’m in the pool, come join me.” She said sweetly as she rang her hair out over the pool.
“You are so sexy Selena.” I said as I looked her up in down.
She has always been skinny but since she’s been rehearsing for her next tour she was toned everywhere, you could see the definition of her abs and I swear her ass has gotten bigger but she tells me it’s all the dancing.
“What?” She laughed as she looked around for me.
I hung up the phone and walked out the door to her gorgeous smiling face.
“You’re going to come swimming in those?” She joked pointing to my underwear.
“Is that a problem?” I retorted walking closer to her.
“No I’m fine with it.” She shrugged and turned back to the pool and dove in “Come on Jay.” She said as she kicked water at me with her foot.
“Oh your going to get it.” I said as I tossed my phone on the same chair as hers and dove in after her.
