Get Your Game On!

Prologue

(A/N: Credits to chuaalishaaa for letting me use her last name! Also I'm giving credits to Sony because I'm gonna mention their PSP here. One last thing, credits to my best friend for the idea of games!)

Third Person PoV

Ah, it was a normal lazy Saturday morning for Elianna Chua. Saturdays are usually the days she'd chill out gaming and not care about school. Sometimes, her best friend Lucas would go over to her (or vice versa) house to play games, because they're neighbors.

And today was one of those days.

So Lucas messaged Elianna:

To: Elianna
From: Lucas
Hey Eli! I'm coming over, can I?

From: Elianna
To: Lucas
Sure! Oh, btw, what game are we playing today?

To: Elianna
From: Lucas
Hmmm..... let's duel on Pokémon?

From: Elianna
To: Lucas
Nah, I don't feel like playing Pokémon right now.

To: Elianna
From: Lucas
I got it! Let's find a new game together?

From: Elianna
To: Lucas
So, we're gonna go to the game store first, then?

To: Elianna
From: Lucas
Yep. Meet you there!

Elianna and Lucas then got ready and went to the game store.

*later at the game store*

As they entered the game store, they browsed around the countless games they could see.

"Lucas, what type of game are we gonna get?" Elianna questioned.

"How 'bout an RPG game?" Lucas responded back.

"Sounds good. I needed a new RPG to play anyway."

So they browsed and broooooowsed, until they found one.

"How about this one, Eli?" Lucas then showed a game called "Dungeon Quest".

"Hm? May I see?" Elianna checked the game and was intrigued. "Oh! I like this one, it's interesting. It's even has multiplayer mode!"

"Let's buy two copies then. One for me and one for you."

*fast forward to when they arrived to Elianna's house*

"Alrighty, did you bring your PSP?" Eli asked.

"Yep!" Lucas said as he brought it out.

Then they both plugged in Dungeon Quest on their PSPs, and they're now on the menu screen. They then linked their PSPs and pressed Multiplayer

(A/N: Bear with me idk how a PSP works)

But suddenly... a portal opened in their PSPs, sucking them in!

When they woke up, they found themselves in a room with a concrete floor and a stone wall. Also, Eli was wearing a robe and holding a scepter; meanwhile Lucas had armor and a sword.

"Where.... are we?" Lucas said, looking around curiously!

Suddenly, an old man appeared and said,
"Greetings! Welcome to Dungeon Quest! You're probably wondering where you are, yes? Well, you are in the game itself. We've summoned countless of gamers to finish the game, but they failed. The goal of this game is to reach the lowest floor. Currently, you are in the introduction floor."

"What happens... if we die in the game?" Elianna asked while her voice is a little shaky.

"I am afraid... I cannot answer that for now. Anyway, let me explain more. The lowest floor of this dungeon is Floor 50. And you have a starting set of equipment; starting weapons, health potions and mana potions. Now, I must go, I wish you luck!"
The old man then vanished.

"Lucas! This is a dream come true! We're in a game! Hey, wait a minute!" Elianna then looks at herself. "I'm a mage! This is cooooool!"

"Why are you a mage am I'm not? I'm a freaking knight."

"Hey, we can't have an all-mage team, you know. Someone's gotta be the melee combatant! Besides, I have mana and you don't."

"Good point. Let's do this." Lucas said as they both entered Floor 1.
