„What a gloomy Sunday morning, right Lia?"
You talked to your dog. Rain had always been relaxing you, but you had a weird feeling today.  Might it be the fact that you moved countries and had to start a new life in a new school? Positive.
Though you are pretty introverted and never really had friends, and hadn't planned to make any this year, you were scared. More annoyed, but yes, scared too.
Laying in bed you knew all you would do this Sunday was reading. You were definitely not looking forward to this. You actually love school, the books, the library, studying. It's always been your thing. You loved it, despite those bitchy girls, the „bad boys". Teens these days were just seeking for drama. But worst of all, you lived alone. So, you had many responsibilities, too many.

The many drops of rainwater splashing against your window, the sight slightly blurry, yet still visible. Bored you starred at this beautiful landscape. The bridge hovering over a quiet river, placed next to a park. There weren't many neighbors around. Just one or two more houses in your proximity. You didn't know them yet, nor did you care.
On the gravel covered sidewalk a boy made notice of himself. His auburn hair shaped into a bowl cut, you couldn't see his face, he was looking down. Sternly walking down the road, past your window with his hands placed in the pockets of his grey hoodie.
Lia was standing next to you while breathing fast. Her tail moving sideways and her eyes fixed on you excitedly. "Guess someone's desperate to pee, huh? I'll go get ready. Wait!"

You hadn't been out with her since you moved in, which may we note was yesterday.
After putting on some Jeans and a sweater you rush down the stairs calling your dog.
Lia has been with you for quite some years now.
You have now reached the age of 17. She was a gift from your father on your 11th birthday.
Walking out the door with Lia you put on your headphones and listened to music. "Yann Tiersen, here to save the day." You thought to yourself. Piano and Chill music had been your favorite all your life. It kept your mind from those stupid, destructive thoughts. That's kind of a reason why you moved, to start new. You finally want to forget, ...or at least forgive what had happened in the past.
