A few days later they all decided to go to the beach. So Mark is playing in the water with Rain while Courtney is relaxing on her beach towel. She was in her own little world thinking of what it would be like to have another baby and him actually be there this time to watch it grow. She didn't realize Mark came and sat next to her.

"What do you think about us having another baby? That way I can be there this time to watch the baby grow."

"I was just thinking about that actually." She said smiling

"Well great let's get started then." He said smiling back and bringing her to his lap and kissing her passionately

"As much as I would love to we can't right now." She said into the kiss

"Ugh let's go home then."

"No Rain is enjoying herself at the moment but I promise we'll get to baby making here soon."

"Mommy, Daddy come in the water with me." Rain said

So with those words Mark picked up Courtney bridal style and carried her towards the beach.

"You better put me down right now I know what your planning."

"I'm not planning anything." He said Innocently 

"Yeah huh sure you...." Before she could finish her sentence he threw her in the water.

"Ugh your an asshole."

"Oh darling but I'm your asshole and you love me."

"You sure about that I'm starting to rethink what we were talking about earlier now."

"No don't do that."

"You should've thought about that before you threw me in the water now your gonna have to suffer the consequences." She started walking away seductively just so he can see what he's gonna be missing out on.

"Oh come on that's not fair."

"All is fair in love and war." She said laughing and going back to her beach towel

He started splashing and throwing Rain around for another hour. Courtney didn't realize she has fallen asleep till she heard a little voice talking.

"Mommy wake up I'm hungry."

"Ok baby I'm up. Let's go find a little diner or something."

They started walking along the beach till they found a cute little restaurant. When they entered the hostess said "How many?" Which was a older lady.

"3" Mark said

"Ok would you like table or booth."

"Booth." Rain said excitedly 

"Well aren't you just the cutest thing I have ever seen." The hostess said to Rain while they got to their booth and sat down.

"Thank you." Rain said politely

"And you have manners your parents taught you well you don't see that now a days."

"My parents always taught me respect so it's only right I teach her the same." Courtney said

"That's how it should be dear." The hostess said "Your waitress will be over shortly."

"Thank you." Mark said

A few minutes later the waitress came over. "Hi my name is Cindy. What can I start you off with to drink?"

"I'll take a chocolate milk." Rain said

"I'll take a Dr.Pepper." Courtney said

"I'll take a Pepsi." Mark said

"Ok I'll have those to you shortly." She said while walking off to get their drinks.

"Mommy so daddy said I might be getting a baby brother or sister soon."

"Did he now. Well it might be a little while for that to happen."

"Why?"

"Because it takes time for it to happen."

"Why?"

"This is all your fault you try explaining it to her." She said to Mark

"Well ummm------" Before he could finish Cindy came back.

"What can I get you guys?" She said placing our drinks down.

"I want the chicken tenders platter." Courtney said "With barbecue sauce."

"I'll have a burger with the works and fries." Mark said

"I'll have the child chicken tenders platter please." Rain said

"Ok I'll have it right out to you when it's done." Cindy said

Thank God for the short attention spans children have Rain totally forgot the conversation they were having. She started coloring on the children menu she got when they first got there.

"You got lucky." Courtney said whispering in Marks ear.

"Yeah I know I didn't know how I was going to explain anything to her. Good luck with that conversation when she's older."

"Who said I was gonna tell her."

"Umm it's the mothers job to tell the daughters."

"Who ever told you that? That is such a stereotypical thing to say"

"No one."

"Yeah see we'll see when she's older who will be the one to have the talk with her. It might just be you just for punishment." She said laughing 

After that their food came and they started eating and once they were finished they headed home. Which it was around 5 O'clock at night.

"Who wants to watch a movie before bed?" Mark asked

"Me Me Me." Rain said excitedly "Do i get to pick it?"

"Of course go to the movie room and pick it out. We'll be there shortly."

"Ok."

"Well im gonna go get changed into pajamas and pick some for Rain to change her into." But before she could go upstairs he grabbed her wrist lightly dragging her back to him and kissing her passionately. Before it got to heated she pulled away and went upstairs and got dressed. Then went to Rain's room and picked out her pajamas and went back downstairs to the movie room.

"Let's get you dressed in your pajamas." 

Rain came over and let her dress her.

"So what movie did you pick." Mark said coming in Changed into just a pair of pajama pants.

"Brave."

"That's one we haven't watched in awhile." Courtney said

"I know that's why i picked it out."

Mark went and put the movie in and started it up. Courtney couldn't help but stare at him. He came and sat down next to her and said "You know it's not nice to stare."

"It is when I'm married to this hot guy."

"Oh you think I'm hot do you." He said giving her a peck on her lips.

"Yes I do but your still not getting any."

"Oh come on that's not fair."

"Like I said at the beach all is fair in love and war."

"I'm sorry I shouldn't have thrown you in the water."

"Thank you for apologizing but your still not getting any tonight." She said looking at Mark smiling.
