Eyes Talk [poetry]

Frozen

when i first saw you 

i drowned

in the deep chocolate oceans of your eyes

and in that moment 

my watch stopped ticking

the planet beneath my feet stopped turning

and everyone around us faded

away into the thick fog that engulfed them

and as you stared back at me

i could see everything

beautiful galaxies i'd only seen in my dreams

but then

just like that 

the whole world unfroze

and we continued along

you becoming nothing

but a

memory
