Everyone was in their rooms getting ready for movie night. They were going to watch Dunkirk.
Ryan Mackenzie was sitting on his bed watching The Walking Dead on his computer while Jackson was in the bathroom and Jordan was trying to light five candles all at once using his fire element. Jackson finally after 20 minutes walked out of the bathroom while putting his shirt on.
"Parrish that's not going to end well. Your going to burn something or someone." Jackson said flopping onto his bed. Parrish groaned giving up, sitting back onto his bed. Ryan was getting bored and looked at the clock that was next to his computer. '6:35, twenty-five minutes until the movie's starting. Perfect!' He thought impatiently and shut his computer, not even pausing the TV show that was on seconds ago.
"So...Jackson, you and Lydia? You dating?" Ryan asked him trying to make small talk to pass the time.
"Yeah...I am. The thing is that I think I'm going to break up with her." He answered bluntly.
"Wa-why? You've been dating for almost a year." Parrish was shocked, shooting up from his bed at what his best friend said.
"It just doesn't feel the same as when we were first dating. I do love her it's just I'm not in love with her. It's not how it used to be." He said looking at his crossed fingers the whole time.
"Well...whatever makes you happy, man." Parrish gives Jackson a small caring smile.
Ryan was always curious and wondered 'who else was in a relationship in his new pack.' He had his eye on a girl but he wasn't going to tell anyone about his crush, not even Jay and Andy. He wanted to find out more on the relationships going on in his new pack so that he's not crushing on a taken girl.
"Who else is in relationships in this pack?" He asked trying to hide the blush he was getting from even thinking about the girl. Luckily the other boys hadn't noticed.
"Scott and Allison" Jordan puts one of his fingers up counting
"as if that's already subtle" Jackson rolls his eyes as he speaks. Jordan eyes Jackson and continues.
"Theo and a girl named Cora Hale from the Blood-moon pack," he took a minute to think about who else may be in a relationship and puts another finger up. "I'm pretty sure that's it. Yep, that's it. Oh well- Isaac had two girlfriends last year if you count that...but, neither of them lasted a long time." Jordan finished.
Ryan thought about what the other buy said. Mack saw Isaac and Andy talking earlier during dinner...to Mack he thought they had gotten close. He was worried about his friend, she was like a sister to him. She was just fifteen and she's been through more than she should have. She was strong but that was only because she had the support of her friends. He was worried that if she fell for Isaac and it didn't turn out well between them it would drive her over the edge.
Mack looked at the clock and saw that the movie was going to start in seven minutes. "We should head down, the movie is about to start." He told them giving them a smile and he stands up from his desk chair. Jordan walks over to the door as Jackson gets up from his bed. They all walk down stairs.
