Scarlet x Shy! Reader

I'm a normal girl who does normal things. I go to school, do my homework, and basically do well...anything a normal girl like me does.

Well today, I had an exam, report cards came out, and let's say my grades were about...

BLAH! Like an average b, c's, and A's, and who could blame me? ITS HIGH SCHOOL for gods sake!

Today, I decided to go to the park again since I didn't really have anything to do. I am a shy person and I feel more shy when I have to look at people in the eyes, so I was pretty lonely, but I liked it anyways. 

"Well, my report card sucks" I muttered looking at my average grades. I looked up to see I was near the park. I walked up to a lonely big oak tree. 'Perfect' I thought looking at the tree. I took my sketchbook out of my backpack and took my drawing pencils out as well.

I began to draw the fountain that was in the middle of the park. I sighed, this was the last place I saw Ben... my bestfriend.

Flashback

"BEN! Come on! Stop being so grumpy!" I yelled pulling onto his arm, I was trying to drag him to the fountain, blushing.

"Do you really believe in this dumbs stuff?" he complained, rolling his eyes.

"YES OKAY! You got a problem with that?" I snapped trying to stay calm. Once I got to the fountain I got ready to make a wish. I opened an eye to look at Ben.

"Ben! Make a wish?" I said trying to cover my face from him.

"No" he scoffed. "Fine...the things I do for you" he said . With that we both closed our eyes making a wish, neither of us told each other what it was~

End of Flashback

I was finished drawing the fountain, I took my coloring pencils out. I tried hiding my face from other people asI began to color the water that was coming from the fountain. I thought about my feelings for Ben. "Wish you were here..." I whispered looking up at the sky. I was all calm until-

"GET OUT OF THE WAY!" 

"WHAT? AGHH!" I cried scared running away from my place, I tripped and fell. I looked up to see the web warriors fighting a villain I had never seen before and he looked like a spider too. I ran as fast as my legs could bare with me, I ran to the exit of the park. 

"Aah! So your the twerp!" I turned around to see Doc Oct standing in front of me.

"What? What do you mean!" I yelled. The villain took me by one of his tentacles, I gasped at how tight he was holding me. "HELP!!" I yelled. "Stop!Get away!" I shouted at Oct.

I wanted to be brave and punch him, but I put my arm down in fear.

"THIS WAS NOT OUR DEAL!" I heard the other villain yell at Oct.

"Oh yes Scarlet, but as you see...she's getting in the way of things "Doc Oct smiled evilly making me hide my face in my hands, I was scared. 

"AAGHH!!HELP!!" I yelled as I was thrown in the air. I closed my eyes tight for the impact but it never came. I felt a tight embrace surround me. I opened an eye to see the villain spider.

"AAGH!!" I yelled as I saw that we were in the air. "IM AFRAID OF HEIGHTS!" I blurted out grabbing tight to him.

I heard the sound of him landing on a building, as I opened my eyes, I pinched him as I started to make a  run for it. I yelped as I was grabbed again.

"Hey!" he growled. "Get it together!" he added. I just hid my face in my hoodie.

"Why should I listen to you, YOUR A VILLAIN!?" I argued trying to raise my voice but with my soft voice I couldn't.

"Look" he grunted, pinching the bridge of his nose. "We are safe for now...But..."

"But What?" I spoke softly getting closer to him. I couldn't help but feel that as if I were with Ben, the spider villain, I'm guessing Scarlet Spider, now. 

Well...

His attitude reminded me of ben. But, he couldn't be Ben! I had heard Ben had been kidnapped and killed. I looked down at my feet.

"You remind me of someone" I whispered, my hair falling causing it to cover my face.

"(Y/n) its me"

"Huh?" I gasped a little confused as I looked up.

"BEN?" I gasped, I could feel tears building up at the corners of my eyes.

"Your...alive" I breathed out. Scarlet had a serious face on as he embraced me.

"H-how?" I managed to say. Ben didn't say anything. He lifted my chin up with his finger as  he hesitated, as if he wanted to kiss me. I blushed as I felt I had to lean in too.

We closed the gap between us. Ben kissed me deeply as if we had little time together. Although his lips were slightly chapped I didn't mind. Scarlet held me tight as my hands were gripping his suit.

He pulled apart.

"I..."

"I love you" I interrupted him, my voice squeaking a bit in the process. Ben put his mask back on as I looked down at my feet again.

"(Y/n)" I heard him say.

I looked up at him. I hugged him, I could tell he took me by surprise.

"Hold on tight" he said, I held on to him for dear life. Scarlet took me home, telling me how he wasn't kidnapped but he was actually taken by Doc Oct as a subject as he was now with powers. As I saw my house in view Scarlet landed near my house. I let go of him.

"Will... I ever see you again?" I asked looking at him and I could tell he was looking at me through his mask.

"You will..." he said leaning in. I smiled blushing.

I lifted his mask up as I reconnecting my lips to his, enjoying the moment.

He pulled apart as he frowned in disappointment.

"I'll see you again"
