Groudon's Heart

Velvet's POV

Jade and I had to work extra hard for the next two weeks. We had to do many missions from founding lost pokemon to stop outlaws. Stopping outlaws are always the hardest because half ot time, they always have to nerve to get a bunch of pokemon together to ambush us. We also was able to add some new members to our rescue team groups. Thanks to Chimcheo(?), we were able to buy certain areas that certain pokemon would habit in. I am nore sure how that would work but I would like to give it a try. 

Anyway, today Loudred woke us up normally. "Hurry up. Today we are going to go on the expedition. Chatot is about to call out the names of those of who are going on this thing." He said before leaving the room. Honestly I didn't want to get up. I didn't want the other members of the guild to rub in our faces how they are going on the expedition, especially Team Skull.

I gently coax Jade out of bed so we can go and see who gets to go on this expedition or not. "I know that we probably won't be able to go, but at least we should everyone else go off right?" I said to her. Jade only scoff and went towards the big room with me following behind her. We sat near the window, wiating for Chatot to come out from Arceus-know-where he was. 

All the guild member chatted excitedly among themselves while Jade and I just stay silent. Not long after, Chatot and our guildmaster, Wigglytuff step out. Chatot waved a piece of paper in his hand with excitement. "Here is the list of the pokemone who are going on the expedition." He said. Jade burry her face in my fur. I sigh and raised a paw to pet her head. "Don't worry, Jade. Don't worry." I whisper softly in her ear. 

Chatot started to list the pokemone that was on the list that was going. He stop short after he called Bidoof. "Guildmaster, I can't read your handwriting." Chatot said with concern. Wigglytuff only smiled and take the paper. "I will read it then. On this paper, everybody in the guild is going on the expedition." He said.

Chatot's beak drop open in shock and Jade came out of my fur with her face full of excitement. 

Jade's POV

"Velvet! We get to go on the expedition as well." I said with true excited and shock. I guess Wigglytuff must have forgotten about the Perfect Apple incident. I jumped up and down around Velvet who was laughing at (possibly) my adorableness. "Since we are all going. Please pair into groups of three." Chatot said. "Wigglytuff and I shall go on ahead. Everyone, quickly gather what you need and then make your way to Basecamp in Foggy Forest." 

Soon after Wigglytuff and Chatot were up and out of the guild. Velvet and I quickly discuss what we had in our bags for the expedition and that we should run quickly into for some other items that we could possibly need. Velvet said she would catch up with me at the steps leading up the guild and that she woulc run to the town and get some items that we might need. "Excuse me, Jade?" I heard a voice said. I turned my head to see Bidoof. "Oh hello, Bidoof." I said wth a smile. I was only greeted by a sad one. "What's the matter?" I asked himm. Bidoof looked at him before looking at the ground. "I was wondering if it was ok for me to go on the expedition with you and Velvet since no other pokemon team let me join them." He said.

I remember Chatot said groups of 3 and Velvet and I are a group of 2. I nodded. I didn't want poor Bidoof possibly getting lost on his way there or worse, possibly fainted on the way there and no pokemon to help him. "Come on. Let's not keep Velvet waiting." I said as we head up the ladder and outside the guild. 

Velvet's POV

I waiting patiently for Jade to come out the guild at the bottom of the steps. I saw both Jade and Bidoof coming out of the guild, bounding down the steps towards me. "Hey, Jade and Bidoof. Glad you guys can make it." I said with a slight tease in my voice. "Now, hurry up. We have a long journey to take to make it to the Basecamp on time. At least by tomorrow morning." I said. Bidoof and Jade nodded before falling in step behind me as we walk down the path and follow the map to Foggy Forest.
