Tree by tree zoomed by the car window making me more and more depressed every time I saw them. I was going to stay with my uncle in the country, he has a small farm up north and my Parents thought what a good idea it would be to send me there for a few months. When I say parents I really only mean my dad, my mom left us alone years ago for a hot Spanish guy she met at a tennis club (thanks mom!).

So here I was watching tree's and greenery go by dreading where I was going to end up for the next couple of months, yay. My names Matthew by the way (but everyone just called me matty) I have short-ish almost black brown hair that only just comes down to me ears, I have hazel eyes and pale skin that makes me look like I'm related to Voldemort. I don't have a girlfriend or any friends come to that, most people think I'm tot's an emo or just a total loser (which is only half true).

The taxi I was is drove up the steep driveway and came to a steady holt at the end of the path,

"That'll be four ninety-seven," the taxi diver said at he front of the cab. I rolled my eyes, quickly handed him the money and got out of the car; as soon as I had got out and shut the door it roared into action and zoomed off over the horizon. Sighing loudly I gathered my stuff and began to walk down a small slope towards my uncles house. It was a white building with red and dark blue stain glass windows making up the shape of a rose.

"MATTHEW!!!" a gruff country voice called out to me. I slowly turned around to face my uncle running down the path I had come from with a hat full of what seemed to be eggs. He slowed down near the bottom of the path walked up to me and ,without warning, ruffled my hair.

"Hi uncle Dave," I said in a drab unamused voice while straitening my messed up hair.

"Oh don't be like that Matthew,"he said still not loosing his stupid grin, "look, I'v got eggs!"

"I can see that, and everyone just calls me Matty now." I replied still not changing the tone in my voice.

"Well, come on in then" he gestured still not loosing his and walking inside and placing the eggs carefully on the table inside. I sighed, this was gonna be a long couple of months!
