Dangthatsalongname also known as smajor1995 was born on the 10th of November 1995 in Scotland. He was named Scott major. He has a sister who was four years older than him named evlin and two half sisters and a half brother who live in England. Now he has two dogs one named Max and Molly.
Scott grew up in Dumbarton, Scotland and went to Norxland primary then marton Academy. As a kid he wanted to be a chef because he loves food but he decided not to because he wouldn't be the one eating it. He is in ravenclaw house and his star sign is scorpio. His favorite color/colour is teal and his main fear would be of disappointment. He can drive. He is right handed and wears's his watch on his right hand.
He was inspired to make a YouTube channel by other youtubers he watched such as ldshadowlady, Smallishbeans and the Oriansounds. He went through around 5 other YouTube channels before the one that he has now and they are still on YouTube because he forgot their passwords. He made his channels because the people he watched made him happy so he wanted to make other people happy and laugh himself. He decided the YouTube name of Dangthatsalongnames because he wanted something that sounded cool and it was available. The other reason was because he wanted to make friends and it worked.
His first video uploaded was called Trending apps when he was 17 years old on the 20th of July 2013. When he first started he did alot of hand gestures and would tell himself to stop. In 2013 he went to insomnia as a fan and walked around in a circle until he gained confidence to go me lizzie, Joel and Oli and said hi. When Christmas came lizzie and Joel were going to start a series of world of warcraft and Scott asked if he could join because he had the game. They replied yes. That was when he meet people like seapeekay, yammy and more. This all happened before 250 subscribers.
In 2014 he created a vlog channel that only has around 5 videos on it names Scott major. He also loved frozen a lot that year. He has a unicorn as his YouTube pal named minty which is a boy.
As he grew up he had a few jobs counting a paper run, working at a foot balls stadium serving food (but only for 2 shifts) and at homebase. In June 2016 he quit his job and become a full time youtuber. Now he as over 330,000 subscribers and uploads videos most days.
