~Navis POV~Beep. Beep. Beep. Beep.
My eyes flutter open as I let out a tired groan which was comparable to a screech of a dying whale.
"Blauguagchhhhh," my throat itched from nights rest I got, which was a solid 3 hours thanks to the essay I had to finish for Mrs. Perkingson. I sit up and take a glance at my alarm clock which was still blaring and I search for the magical button which halts the dreaded noise. (Shout out to bitchy teachers :)))
I quickly hopped out of bed because I know if I don't get up now and quick I'll fall back and give into the blissful thing we all take for granted as children, sleep.
I take a glance into my mirror on my night stand. Eye bags? Check. Messy poop brown hair? Check. Dead inside brown eyes? Never better. And last but not least, ahh, the pale skin of obvious neglection? Checkamendo.
-Time skip-
After a quick toast for breakfast and my literally hour long makeup session I was out the door. Straightened unhealthy hair and all.
I sigh a breath of relief at the fact the I no longer live with my parents. I probably would've been too distracted by their bickering and be late to class. Ah the college life. They saved up just enough for me to buy an apartment, though it was far from luxurious.
Classes, so far, are boring, but that's not new. Though there was something strange in Psychology class. I could swear upon the gods that I saw a girl in the woods. She looked like she was in her early twenties, and she looked a little scruffed up, but she had some sort of majestic vibe to her. I can't explain it but I'm attracted to it.
After psychology class was finished I headed to my literature class, which was a requirement. As I walked down the hallway I get a strange feeling that I'm being watched, a cold feeling, which I have felt many times and at that moment I knew that I'm gonna be late for class and that I'm royally fucked.
"Heyyyy BaBe," I heard an obnoxious voice to the left of me.
"Frick frack," I mumble under my breath. "Manson, what do you want?" I turn around to reveal a taller boy with bleached blond hair and brown bloodshot eyes that scream "I'm high as fuck, kick me outc please." He let out loud laugh and I cringe slightly. I hate this guy. I've hated him ever since I met him. I turn the other way and walk faster to my destination.
"You. Me. Movie. Tonight," he smirks jogging slightly to keep up. You see people say college is different than highschool, in some cases, yes, but for me? No. Manson has been torturing me for years and when we graduated word slipped out that I wanted to attend Coral and suddenly he drops everything and uses his parents money to get in. I knew a "Movie" would be us in the back of a movie theater with him constantly trying to get in my pants even with my refusal.
"I'll pass, not today Satan," I say smiling very obnoxiously to give him a hint. He pushes his arm in the wall in front of me to stop me from walking.
"Come on, honey," he says with a twitch in his eye making it obvious it'll get physical. He suddenly leans in closer pushing me into the wall with no room left between us. I feel vulnerable, scared, and my anxiety swells up, but as if I'd show him that. I radiate sarcasm but around him I need to radiate dominance and confidence so he knows I wont deal with his shit. It's very out of my character but I can deal.
As he looks at me I look up so we are face to face and I grab his nose and push it forward radiating a loud crack. I didn't break it, I'm not that badass but I did pop it. He lurches back off of me which gives me time to escape.
I whip out my phone and texted an acquaintance to take notes for me. I didn't feel like going to my next class. I was a bit shaken though I tried not to make it known, but once I exited the campass shock and worry was evident on my face. This is a daily thing. When will it change? When will my life be different?
