Prologue
April POV

"Come here." a man dressed in all black said

I started running and I didn't know where to hide. I discovered a hidden door. I ran up the stairs and hide in this room with all white expect for these red roses.

Hi my name is April Mason. I'm 17, I dropped out of high school cause I had my son at 15. I'm engaged to August Harris, my baby's father and our son's name is Amir.

I live in Miami and I'm five months pregnant with a girl. Your probably wondering why I'm in here. Well let me explain some things before I tell it all.

My mom was 17 when she met my dad who was 19 and a thug. He sold drugs all over and killed anybody and everybody but she loved him and he loved her. I was born only 1 year later.

My father was always in our lives. He would have to leave sometimes for business but he called everyday and he always came back.

My mom's name is Diana and my dad's name is Davonte.

Now I'm gonna tell you everything starting with how my mama and daddy met.....

Chapter One
Diana POV

School had just ended and my bitches Kai and Nina were in my car snd we decided we were gonna skip cause it was Friday.

"Y'all where should we go until the party?" I said sitting in the drivers seat.

"We should go to the park." Kai suggested.

"Then the mall." Nina said sitting in the backseat. "Then Kai house cause my mama be bitchin'."

"Okay park, mall, then Kai's crib." I said.

We drove to the park and get on the swings when these niggas walked up to us. There were three of them, but one of them caught my eye.

"What's up withchu, baby girl?" The one that is too fine says while staring at me. "What y'all doing our here all by yaseleves."

"We're just hanging out." I smiled.

"You gon' tell me ya name or should I just keep calling you baby girl?" He asked me.

I blushed as I giggled. "I like baby girl, but my name is Diana." I said making him smile.

"Diana," He bit his bottom lip. "I'm Davonte."

"Davonte." I bit my bottom lip, mocking him which made him laugh.

"First day and you already jockin my style, shawty." He says while smiling.

We just talk and laughed for awhile. They were really funny. His homeboy Kory was interested in Kai and his other homeboy, Neyo was feelin Nina.

"We have to go, we're running out of time." Kai said

"You gotta curfew, shawty?" Kory said to Kai.

"Nah, we got somewhere to be." Kai said rolling her eyes.

"You leavin me already shawty?" Davonte asked me making me giggle.

"I'm sorry." I said as I stood up and hugged him.

I gave my number to Davonte, Kai gave her number to Kory, and Nina gave her number to Neyo. They walked us to the car and I started driving.

"Can you believe them?" Nina says

"Hell yeah we some good looking bitches." I say

We laugh as I continued to drive to the mall.
