Angel winced as Nancy gripped her wrist tight, dragging her to the girls' locker room.
"I'm not even getting changing." Angel said confused.
"Well duh silly but I wasn't going to leave you alone, Ive heard that a few girls aren't too happy with your presence." Nancy pulled her shirt over her head and threw it aside, picking up the blue gum top.
"Why not?" The innocent teen frowned.
"Because, girl, you're stunning and they're jealous of course. Apparently you've already caught the attention of a few guys."
"Oh." Was all she could whisper. No one had ever paid much attention to her except the few times Tammy had spoken to her back in Ohio. "I still don't understand."
"Angel. You're new, fresh meat there's been no new students for about a year now and you've just popped up with your rocking body and glowing beauty. Guys from freshmen to seniors are curious about what lays beneath, though most would just prefer what lay underneath your clothes." Nancy shrugged pulling on her gym shorts.
Angel blushed at the idea and shook the thoughts from her hair. She watched as Nancy moved her clothes into an empty locker and motioned for Angel to follow her.
"Don't worry, coach never really makes us girls join in. He's usually too busy with the basketball team." Nancy rolled her eyes but Angel could tell she was in no way upset.
The two girls walked into the gym, a few people looking their way. Sitting on the bleachers was an older man with slightly greying hair.
"Coach, this is Angel Miller she's new. She doesn't have her uniform yet so she can't get changed." Angel shyly lifted a hand for a sort of awkward wave.
The man looked up from a clipboard and nodded his head. "That's alright girls you can just go sit down."
"Told ya." Nancy whispered.
The brunette climbed a few stairs and sat down, away from the other girls. Angel sat next to her and watched as a few guys piled into the gym.
"So you have to tell me, got any guy back in Ohio?"
"Oh gosh no." Angel giggled. "The boys back there were always more interested in my sister, none spared me a glance."
"Well I find that hard to believe." Nancy rose an eyebrow. "You can tell me if you have like a secret guy or something."
"I know and I would, but I seriously don't have anyone. Never did." She shrugged.
"Hm, weird." There was a pause and Angel looked at the doors to the gym. In strode Billy and Angel couldn't find the strength to look away. "It must've been hard to move to another state. I don't know what I would do if Dad just one day told us that we were moving."
