Bulletproof love

Kayla's POV

"GET UP YOU SLUT YOU HAVE SCHOOL" My father yelled at me. "Two more years" i mumbled, "two more years till i het out of this hell hole." I sighed. I jumped out of my bed, turned on my straightener, and jumped in the shower making sure not to get my hair wet. Once i got out i walked to my closet and pulled out a white tank top with a white invertebrate cross on it, and my black high waisted shorts with a pair of black and white converse. Then i moved to my hair. I straightened my long purple and white hair, then teased the top a little. After i moved to my makeup. I put on a little bit of blush and a couple coats of mascara. Grabbing my backpack and skateboard i headed out the door. As i rode to school i noticed three familiar bodies walking on the side walk. I smirked jumped off my board and ran up to them trying not to make a lit of noise. Successfully i made it up to my three best friends without them noticing." BOO!!! "

I yelled. They all jumped and screamed then turned around. "Wtf Kayla! You scared the living shit out of me." Jaime said and the other two laughed. "Omg ive missed you!!" Savannah squealed. I laughed "missed you to Sav." I said to my best friend. Then i looked over to Tony. He looked back at me then frowned. "Whats wrong turtle?" He eyed me for a second then said "You didnt hug me first." I laughed then jumped on him wrapping my legs around him giving him the biggest hug ever. He smiled and said "thats better." As we walked to hell I started thinking about how this year. Every year is constantly the same. I go to school, get bullied, come back home , and get beaten. Then that happens over and over every single day. Once we reached school the name calling began immediately.

"Hey emo"

"why dont you kill yourself "

" whore "

"Go die already "

"Slut "

And so on. I did my best to ignore the names, pushing, and shoving. Finally the bell rang and everyone had to get to class. As i walked with Tony to class i began to daydream untill i felt a sharp pain down my leg...i looked up to see a boy with long hair to his shoulders looking down at me. " I am

so sorry." He said while reaching his hand out to help me up. Gladly i took it and got up. " its okay" I said finally. " Im Vic" he said. " And im late!" I said hesitantly. " ill talk to you later Vic i shouted as i ran towards class.

.............LUNCH........

As Tony, Savannah, and I walked into the lunch room, we saw are friends and immediately sat with them. Kayla looked at me " well are you going to say hi yet?!" She said smoothly with a hint of annoy in her tone. I sighed "Hey, sorry ive just been thinking a lot lately." "Its okay me to girl." She said. While everyone was talking about there summer I looked around and noticed the guy who ran into me this morning. Vic I think. He looked up at me and smiled. Then

a guy who looked kind of like him said something in his ear. Then I turned around and joined back in with everyones conversation.

The rest of the day kind of dragged along. I had Vic and his friend in a couple of my classes but i didn't bother talking to him.

After school while i was waiting for jaime. I saw Vic. "Hey Vic is it?" He smiled " yeah. I never got your name." "Im kayla." I said kind of blushing. "Well Kayla i will see you around." He smiled than ran off to that one guy he was talking to earlier. Finally jaime came out and smirked " who was that" he said nudging me. " Vic." " oooohh!! Kayla's got a boy friend. Kayla's got a boyfriend! " He started singing. " No I dont! Now can we leave?!"

The walk back home wasn't long, as i walked up the steps to my door i froze. My dad didn't beat me this morning. Every time he didn't beat me in the morning , he would do horrible things to me like rape, burns, drug me, sometimes he would cut for me. I knew once i walked through that door there was no backing out. But if I didn't go in now consequences would be worse. I sighed and slowly walked into the house. I noticed my dad wasn't down stairs so I ran up the stairs into my small room. Once i was in, I closed the door and locked it shut. I let out a long breath that i didn't realize i was holding. Then as I turned around I saw him.
